It's annoying as hell, same with couples. However it is a free country but if someone looks at my profile I reserve the right to mail them. If they have blocked single men I put them on my block list. That way we don't waste our time.

You do understand that the 'Not Looking For Single Me' is a line that appears by default when someone (anyone - man, woman, TV or couple) applies a filter to prevent incoming messages from single men?

It doesn't mean they're not looking to meet them at all.

But go for it - shoot yourself in the foot and block your target audience.

If more single men learnt how the site works and the functions of filters and other site tools then they'd probably lead a far less stressful life on Fab and would be able to use the site better and get more enjoyment from it.

Just a thought.......

Because they're taking charge of who they want to contact them. Some women and couples are bombarded with messages. This filters that out. They can look at profiles they might potentially be interested in or just being nosey, without that person seeing they viewed them amd messaging.

It's terrible the way some people want to use this site.

I know of some couples who have blocked single men, but with the idea of being able to look for who they like and contact them without being bombarded when they view profiles.

It's fair enough, and actually a genius way to avoid their inbox being spammed

We unblocked single guys for a bit recently as we’d love to find a couple of guys to get to know for some fun - particularly to fulfil a fantasy of J (Mr) watching me with other men. However what seemed to be the case was guys just wanting a quick fuck to tick something off the list, who came across as desperate and that’s not really what we are looking for. I know this maybe sounds harsh, but I guess it’s a case of the behaviour of a few spoiling it for the many

I explained in another comment here about why we have single men blocked, but are looking. The constant messages from guys who come across as desperate, guys who are rude, guys who don’t read your profile bio who just message because you’re near etc…it’s just a shame that behaviour like that spoils it for genuine guys. We message anyone who looks like someone we would like to get to know better

This is very true. People answer posts in the forums and its nice to put a face to the names. Dont worry op we will block you to make sure we dont look at your profile by accident or intentionally again. Hope that makes you feel more at ease.
