As someone with a knee issue I'm trying to see if anyone can recommend leg exercises that don't put so much pressure on the knee

maybe explain a little more about the type of injury, maybe you should be resting it completely!

Practice good form and go lighter weights with higher reps. It’ll still get you hypertrophy but with less stress of heavy weight on an injury. I found the elliptical trainer good for rehab as it kept knee straight.

Cycling/trainer bike. Very low impact as long as you are spinning your legs above 80rpm and obviously great cardio as well.

Swimming pool exercises.

Exercise bike and progress to real cycling.

Resistance bands.

Taichi is low impact but avoid poses that put stress on your knees

Speak to a professional. You would think swimming would be good as weightless however my mum got swimmers knee from endless lengths of breast stroke.

Similarly I have had a torn ACL for years yet squatted 92.5kg for 10 reps 4 times this morning.

You need to know the mechanics of the injury to know how best to exercise with it.
