When you have an actual date lined up that you've moved children and work around for and are about to drive 45 minutes, and she cancels because her curtain hooks need to be straightened, I don't think it's a massive logical leap to assume that "she's just not that into you".

Sometimes you just shake your head and move on.

I did get a photo of said curtain hook, and it was indeed one bodged job. Apparently her friend's husband could only come and fix it that day which begs the question of whether he's going to Dignitas after the weekend or something.

In either case, I got the "You're a nice guy but not ready, etc., etc." message shortly after, which I'd basically been expecting.

Just move on, she's obviously messing you around, although the straightening curtain hooks excuse certainly beats any of the wacky and unbelievable excuses we've had from idiots on here letting us down at the last minute! Look elsewhere mate, she's obviously not wanting to take things any further, probably had no intention to from the start? Good luck pal
