still with the Boomtown Rats, I Don't Like Mondays is a song story about a school shooting tragedy. Back in the day, most people thought it was about the first day of the working week, back to school etc and it took weeks for one of the tabloids to print the real back story. Nobody seemed to bother even when this was revealed. Not sure it would be the same now.
