When is the last time you did something just for you?

We spend so much time working, doing chores, looking after other household members, playing parent taxi, doing admin, the list goes on and on.

When did you last do something that YOU enjoy and makes YOU happy?

And what was it?

(BTW, wanking doesn't count)

I made a coffee and enjoyed it in the garden earlier. Very nice. Its the little things and moments that make the difference. Unfortunately I had no flake

London

That's something I have an issue with. Always putting others needs above my own. Am trying to address it so this week I set aside an hour and listened to a podcast

"I booked a train ticket to london and am going to Buckingham Palace "

It sounds lovely. I used to do spontaneous things like that. Sadly not for a while

I'm incredibly selfish with my time, I'm fortunate that other than my partner I dint really have anyone to consider

I got a little tattoo as an act of defiance. It was how I reclaimed ownership of my own body.

Pooping while you read the sport pages doesn't count.

Count Your Blessings Cottage, Gratitude Grove

I have countless family members and 6 dogs relying on me.

Doing something for myself isn’t ever going to happen

Evening walk with the sun setting watching the family of deer bouncing across the fields, beef burgers chilling, racks of lamb getting fat and juicy.

Then I decided to break into a run because of a stupid song being good.

Need this every few days to stay level.

Not sure, but the 16th is my birthday. I plan to go to a LGBT coffe shop, then to the Warhammer shop. A day off, just imagine!

Went to a classic car show a couple of weeks ago, which didn't go down very well with my wife as I refused to take her to a gay pride event the day before, long story, she isn't the slightest bit lesbian/gay, apparently slimming world had a presence there & she wanted to support them. Only found this out the next day.

Somewhere

The last time I did anything for myself was last April.

With my daughter recovering from bilateral ankle surgery and my mother in long term care and work, my time is not my own.

This will change in September when I become redundant, I’ll have a little time for myself…
