If you're worried, you should go to your GP.

Any issues go to the GP, as you don't want to ignore issues there.

I had suspected pancreatic cancer.

My urine went dark, stool went really pale and my skin and eyes went yellow.

It turned out to be nothing.

For the record I do have appointment with her tomorrow and I spoke with her on the phone earlier. I had CMV last Sept after it was misdiagnosed as “IBS”. I’m having similar symptoms now, I’m certainly not ignoring the symptoms but if anyone has had similar (hope to god no one has ever been that ill) I would like to have some helpful knowledge. Not keen on asking Dr Google

I’ve had gallstones and gall bladder removal.

Symptoms included…..

Vomiting

Severe stomach pain that started at the back

My skin and eyes went yellow

Pee went the colour of original Lucozade

Surgery was a quick, keyhole day surgery that was recovered from fully in about a month.

If you think you have a problem with your liver blood tests measuring flow though it are the usual. If these come back normal but you're still complaining you might get an ultrasound, it's then up to the radiographer to say alls normal.

A Fibroscan however, will pick up different information an ultrasound cant such as fatty liver disease. They are freely available but depend on the hospital or clinic in your area. There are walk in type events up and down the country, though you have to be aware they are on or you'll miss them.

Yep. Went private and got a full set of tests, but it cleared up on it's own which puzzled the specialist. Their best guess is gallstones, as I had a swelling but oddly I was in no pain and it had gone before the endoscopy.

My mum had exactly the same symptoms a couple of months later, but wasn't so lucky and didn't make it to Christmas.

That shook me a bit, so had a second round of tests earlier this year, but still good.

So sorry to hear that.

My friend years ago was diagnosed as having appendicitis and had an op to remove it but symptoms persisted afterwards they kept saying she was fine, did bloods and scans etc but then another dr looked at her gallbladder…. that came out pretty quickly and no issues since

The pain is worst than child birth.

The pain was like something was turning constantly just under the breast bone.

I had mine removed nearly 20yrs ago.

One of my friends got a strange rash, i think blisters and then their skin went really dry and insanely itchy... It was like they had fleas. When they got tested it was an issue with their liver

Gall bladder. Symptoms were sweating, got really got, pain, ridiculous pain just under my ribs. Felt short of breath too. But mostly pain. Went away.

Came back about a month later, even worse, couldn't sleep this one off. Was gallstones, they'd caused an infection. Didn't have it out there and then, just had antibiotics to get rid of the infection and went on the waiting list.

Came out fine.
