A mutual friend set up a chat group at the beginning of covid lockdown.

Work and footie friends to laugh, cry, support each other, talk bollocks and take the piss.

We got chatting outside of the group and hit it off.

I mentioned I had cats.

Lady Astor likes cats and invited herself down.

Once lockdown was over, she rocked up.

A year after we started chatting we finally met, 16 months later here we are.

It actually felt like fate as I had previously accepted a job for a hotel and restaurant in Oxford but the London club job came up and I went there instead.

We saw each other on the very first morning I started.

We are another COVID lockdown couple. Although we first met nearly 10 years ago. We'd been Facebook friends and chatted occasionally. Started chatting more in lockdown and eventually met up again.... the rest as they say is history

Until I met J (Mr), I never in a million years thought I’d ever be with someone who wanted to explore the scene as well. We just click completely on so many different levels, and there a deep level of trust, respect, love and communication between us. We both care about each other’s sexual pleasure and sharing these experiences together with other people is really horny. As I say, never expected to ever feel like this with someone, but it’s so liberating and amazing. I don’t ever take our relationship for granted, just wish we’d met 20 years ago lol

Male half here.

We met because my mother and brother thought they where funny.

So I was 21. I'd broken up with someone after dating them since I was 17 and was just taking me time (you know how it is getting over your first relationship). didn't want to go out or anything, just worked and moped for a bit with the whole "woe is me" thing. I was 21 and suffering a broken heart for the fist time. Don't judge lol.

After 3 months of this they thought they would put an advert in the lonely hearts pages of the local newspaper just to get me out of the house.

I was not happy. Really hated the idea and thought it was "sad".

Long story short, after a few bombs you could call blind dates, I was about to give up on it when I got a phone call from my now partner and wife of 26 years. The phone call turned into a 6 hour phone call, we then met the following day and then the day after that we didn't get out of bed for days.

So jokes on them as I'm still laughing all these years later.

I honestly think it's for the best that you are not getting meets. You do not appear to be in a good place in terms of your self-image. Maybe take a break from it all, consider some counselling and come back later?

Just to throw ours in - we met on a rather popular fetish site, just thought it was some passing appreciation for each other initially but conversation started, we got totally drawn into each other.
