One I couldn’t attend - torn between live aid and wham! The final

One I attended - definitely George Michael 25 at hampden and don’t think that’s too biased an opinion as the person that accompanied me really not a George fan and loved it! Got gorgeous weather and was a fantastic atmosphere too

Nirvana unplugged was easily the best of unplugged series. A lesson for all musicians on how to make a cover your own.

I have been to many gigs but the two that still stand out for me. Slayer at the Astoria. Me and a punkette crowd surfing and then dating after. Gingerwildeart at the 12 bar. What should have been a shambles was the greatest singalong in my life. Good times.

Other than that, The first Carter USM reunion gig in 2007 and their last in 2014 were pretty special. The Levellers in the Water Rats a few years ago or The Wonder Stuff in Birmingham Orisj Centre at the height of their fame on the early 90s were both brilliant

I saw them in small pubs and Glastonbury and every size venue inbetween in the early 90s, buy they were on another level at the reunion gigs, the atmosphere was something else.

Never been a massive Crue fan but it has to be noted the band literally exploded on stage that afternoon in 1991 and all 4 members gave 110% and got the 72,000 strong crowd bouncing.

Nine Inch Nails at the o2 arena in 2014. I was in the mosh pit. The band had an LED curtain that acted as a video screen. Phenomenal light and visuals to accompany the music. Even the support band, Cold Cave, blew everyone away.

And again seeing Nine Inch Nails at The Eden Project a few weeks ago. It had rained heavily, the support band where awful. We where cold, wet and miserable. Trent Reznor got on stage, the sun came out. The second song in and he points to stage left "A FUCKING RAINBOW" everyone cheers. Stunning gig

First time I saw NIN was in Manchester when Head Like A Hole was just out and they were just out of control! Hitting each other with instruments and punching and knocking each other off stage. All the band (inc Trent) were injured by the end and so were several audience members. Back then we loved it! But now when I think back it was just, well, stupid really. Amazing to witness though.

I was at that gig in Manchester... That light show was something else!!!

My contribution to this thread is Pink Floyd on the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour in Earls Court.

Or
