"Yes i tend to opt for 'casual classics' fasion style, love my retro trainers such as 'adidas sl72' & 'new balance 327' coupled with skinny jeans, longline plain tshirt & overshirt (usually pretty green). " I did not know the sl72 was the first to sport the three stripes until just now.

Tho some of the reissues bear little resemblance to the originals. I have a couple of pairs of London and Torino that I'm proud of.

"I notice what's becoming more popular but prefer my own choices on what I think looks good in me. I don't do branded items of clothing as I don't like the idea of being a walking billboard for numerous companies." Pretty much this. If x colour is on trend I can get more of it. If y cut is in style it'll be easier to find, which is good or bad depending on what suits me. I mix, match, and flirt with or borrow from prevailing trends.

"Current fashion is what looks good on you, fits the curves in and then add on a few nice branded accessories and shoes " That is good and yes, you are right there as well, it should be a good fit too

"I like to follow current fashion but I don't always wear it. The current trend in dresses for instance just wouldn't suit me so I won't wear them. I do enjoy fashion and find it interesting. " That sounds also good to do that

"Yes, I'm into fashion. But it's MY fashion, in a nonconformist way. Mostly contemporary but with a twist, sometimes retro and occasionally old school, but never 'left field' so that it's too obvious." As per previous.

"I wouldn't say that I am, having said that I do get things from Nike and Adidas now and again, but not that often. I also get things from less-known brands, what is the current fashion? " Fashion, style and trends are different things. Magazines and Catwalk shows determine fashion. Style is how you chose to dress over your life time. Trends are short-lived usually a year to 6 months. Day to day I have an eclectic style as to be expected by a maverick. I do not want to dress like everyone else when given a choice. I have a few timeless classic style pieces which I wear on repeat...sadly usually to funerals. A black wrap dress and a black broad-rimmed hat. More eclectic of me- blue suede shoes. I think I'm a bit too old for trends but I work many in my twenties and Primark is great for a cheap and cheerful trend piece. Fashion isn't always about branded items. As you can be fashionable and make your own clothes or pick up vintage unbranded items from markets and charity shops.
