Sometimes it's easy if they have put a made up location such as Narnia etc ..

You can also work it by the time stamp if you catch it early enough you can see whose on line in that period.

I.e you were liked 15 minutes ago you can rule out those who went off line 30 minutes ago etc

You have no chance if it was someone not in your area though but I have had success with these methods.
