Don’t tend to watch sad films but sad bits in other films that always get me one is The start of mama when the dad has killed the mother and takes the kids away to kill them the oldest lassie the way she says “my glasses are broken” after the crash and asks “why you crying daddy” and the overall sadness of that scene sticks in my mind

I cried at Toy Story 3 when the toys look like they’re about to be (spoiler alert!) incinerated and all start holding hands.

UP, when the old fella looks through the photo album and there’s a message written to him to have his own adventures.

The Notebook when the old couple are in bed together at the end.

Moulin Rouge when (spoiler alert!) SATINE dies.

So many sad moments in films…..!

Depends what type of tears I want to shed.

There are a few films where it's a sense of something overwhelming but good. So the film Prise does that at the end and even the moment they go to space in Armageddon and the mother tells the truth.

But there are jsut deeply sad films like Watership down or deaths in films like backdraft or Gladiator.

Also, this one isn't a film, it's a limited series, but The Narrow Road to the Deep North - episode 4. I don't think I've ever cried so much when watching something before. I've seen all of the usual tearjerkers, but this broke me 😭
