It's hard in this weather. I find powder helps to set things, but realistically you have to reapply regularly! I sit in front of a fan all day so my face stays cool lol

Teesside

Dermablend Setting powder is amazing.

Put this on, on top of your foundation and you can sweat all day long or even go swimming and your make up stays on. You can get it from most large Boots Chemists.

Try going without makeup.

Nobody really needs it?

Be proud of your so-called “imperfections” and wear them as a badge of honour. It’s natural, it’s real, it’s you.

Caveat: red lips and eye liner look hot!

I tell my daughter: we’re make up to enhance a look or image. Never wear make up to “hide” something you think other people might not like. (They actually don’t care).

Look after one another

X

Moisturiser.... Leave for 15 kins at least to sink in.

Primer, light layer of setting powder, setting spray, foundation and other cream products, powder powder products and lips, setting spray.

Take a fixing spray out with you to use when needed as well as some pressed powder however the above routine creates very little transfer on masks for me.

Ditch the foundation and use L'Oréal Magic BB Cream instead. Goes no where in this heat and looks nice all day.

The less powdered products you use in the heat the longer make up will stay on without looking dry and caked on.

Cream or liquid products last longer.

Finish with setting spray

Once make up is applied, apply a layer of superglue. Full coverage needed. Sorted

"Light layers of setting powder and setting spray"

When I first read this I thought "light" was a verb and you were saying to set light to something.

Interesting view point. Have you ever worn make up ? Have you ever needed to hide a blemish or scar ?

I’m a man. I have blemishes and scars. I don’t feel the need to hide them. So I’ve never worn make up.

I'm just embracing the sweaty face at the moment!

You won't be alone Yasmeen so don't worry too much.

I'd recommend using only a light layer of foundation and applying with a damp beauty blender to really work it into your skin so it's not just sat on top.

Also, a lightweight moisturiser underneath and a setting spray to keep it all in place. If your skin is oily, a powder too in the places you sweat most.

I'll put my hand up to not wearing make up unless i'm clubbin in Ibiza.... ( that last bit was lie )

I could not be arsed applying make up to my face in this weather ....

Put a spot of false tan or sommat....... sheesh ...

Plus...... I have the same face whether it's granny pink or max factor beige.....

In the middle

I gave up trying to wear it at the moment. The hot weather/face mask combo does not keep your foundation on even if you spritz your face with a fixing spray, so I just don’t try

I'm not really qualified on questions of glamour but I think semi-permanent makeup could be a good option, like eyelash lift & tint. Alternatively, become nocturnal if you can.
