"Just curious...

Dabbled when I was younger. I prefer the novels and games these days as my painting skills are dog shit!

The Space Wolf, Grey Knights, Horus Heresy, Ultramarines, Eisenhorn and Gaunts Ghosts series were excellent.

I'm playing total war: warhammer 2 as we speak

My painted high elf army is still upstairs in boxes.

And I had started painting a blood angle army when I lost interest. That was about 20 years ago.

You can sell both painted and unpainted. If they're well painted, someone might want to buy a ready made army. If not well painted, they can be stripped and redone. Unpainted obviously easy enough to sell cheaper than GW are asking!

Nerds....

Said to the wife about starting the boys on the nerd shit early so they aren't interested in drugs and girls only for her to insinuate that I was a nerd, to which I replied "your the one that sucks my dick "

Many a meme put there explaining the benefits of early TTRPG indoctrination one of them being the inability to afford drugs because the books and minis are expensive

Also getting high off the glue.

Yeah it's expensive, but we've found new mates through it, the kids use less of the playstation and they're doing maths without realising (shhh) "

Yeh my daughter loves playing D&D with me but tells me she's not great at maths but could tell me if she's hit a dragon from 150ft with a 17 dice roll and how much damage ot would take lol

"I’ve a heap of Warhammer figures from years ago in the house with no use for them. Tried talking to Games Workshop about moving them on to someone who would use them and they had zero interest in helping out. What do you do with 2nd hand ones?

GW only want to sell new models

Are they painted? You can sell online. Mr KC sold quite a lot......

They are, ooh I’ll have a more in depth look for buyers. I’ve so much Gorkamorka too and books for both

You can sell both painted and unpainted. If they're well painted, someone might want to buy a ready made army. If not well painted, they can be stripped and redone. Unpainted obviously easy enough to sell cheaper than GW are asking!

Yeah we’re painted by me when I was a kid. I don’t need to double check them to know they are quite badly done! Thank you though!

You'll shift em quickly on the auction sites, whatever condition they're in. If you know what you have, check the sold prices first don't accept lowball offers, then."

Fairly sure the WH stuff is mainly Space Marines and Eldar. Some lead characters in there’s too so I’ll make sure I can get something decent for those ones

Best of luck - if in doubt see if you have an independent gaming store nearby (you should do) and have a word

"I still have my full compliment of Rainbow Warriors, not played it since the rogue trader rules got scrapped.

Awesome.

I'm sure it's changed loads, I only started playing 8th edition."

I stopped playing when a pistol could take out a dreadnought or vehicle, they made the game stupid. That is progress though.

Also the players that got a bit nmsarky with you for creating your own chapter, there are over a 1000 chapters does everyone know them all.

Yeah easily play 2/3 games in an evening cheap, great entry into the hobby as a board game but some of the rules could be written better
