I don’t know why it’s dubbed a Christmas song but The Power Of Love - Frankie Goes To Hollywood . It does something to me I can’t explain. But Christmas Classics prob The Pogues .

Has to be Fairytale of New York. You know it’s Crimble then.

Also enjoy being in the car at night when Chris Rea’s driving home for Christmas comes on. Feels so apt.

Something different Run-D.M.C. And Christmas in Hollis.

Also on my playlist is Lonely this Christmas by Mud, Blue Christmas from the King and Thank God it’s Christmas by Queen.

The Darkness - Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)

Love the bit where he goes to answer the door & he has a bit of arse crack showing from lying on the floor & he suddenly hikes his kegs up - hilarious!

For me it'd have to be any of the Christmas songs performed by Brian Setzer & Orchestra

or

Broken Peach - Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree. They've also got quite a few others from previous years!

I like that one too. Other favourites include Steeleye Span, Greg Lake, Slade, Wizzard, Chris De Burgh, Kate Bush, The Waitresses, Jethro Tull, The Who...and NOT that bloody Pogues dirge. A shame, because I love most of their other stuff, but I've always hated that tune.

Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses

I also love some of the old Jazz Christmas songs too, Zat You, Santa Claus? - Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald’s version of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer are great.

Bing and Bowie is nice and Otis Redding’s version of White Christmas is beautiful.

Il Dulci Jubilo for me! Don't even know why, just really gets me in the spirit! Plus Step into Christmas.

Mr Racer likes Proper Crimbo and Don't Let the Bells End, probably cos they're the least christmassy xmas songs
