No it cannot be ‘passed on’.

If she’s comfortable with being touched then fine. Her body, her choice

There is zero risk whatsoever of catching cancer by having sex with anyone who has had breast cancer or any other cancer Derek.

You should always make sure you're protected from the usual STI's as you would with anyone you have sex with.

Just be nice to her and don't make her having had and survived cancer any kind of issue and you’ll be fine.

Try looking at the NHS website.

Breast cancer can be passed on through families. It’s best you get regular STI checks if you are seeing an escort. Take care.

You're registered as blind so maybe you can't get the information you need as easy as other people on here.

You're a bit frightened and you asked a question for advice

No you cant catch cancer from her

You're right to get tested as you do and you do seem respectful to her

So enjoy yourself and stay safe

This is so true, please don’t take the nasty comments to heart Derek. Those who know your from around the forums know that you have a good heart and asked the question in good faith.

Communicate with the lady in question, I am sure she will talk about if anything is uncomfortable for her and although cancer is not contagious, well done for getting tested regularly to protect yourself from the sexually transmitted nasties out there.

Give the guy a break

He has as much right to ask any question he likes, as naive as that question might seem to you

I really do agree, but I haven't, I'm guessing and possibly presuming something about OP that really I shouldn't but I don't know anything about him.

I'm only guessing that the hideous comments are also based upon the posters not knowing the OP either, I seriously hope so, but how many threads have we all commented on, without knowing the OP responsible personally, have we been the same?

Maybe this thread could help us all on the forum, don't prejudge?

I can empathise with the OP, I made the mistake of asking a genuine question in forum when I was here last time, it involved the female G-spot. Like this post, I got a number of helpful, kind responses, but also a number of abusive, degrading and rude comments, including me not having the right to be on the site, and that I should leave if I didn't know what I was asking. So OP, take on board the positive replies and comments, there are lots of nice members here.

You seem to approach this site in a manner many could learn from so ignore the numpties and keep asking questions. Like someone has already said there isn't such a thing as a stupid one. "

Absolutely do ask and dont let anyone put you off. Iv posted a few silly questions and yes I've had a few silly answers but that's the nature of the game but never worry about posting something.

I'm gonna send you a message so that you can message me as my filters are up. You can also ask me any questions you may have, I understand how tricky navigating a site like this can be and having questions that not everyone understands.

"I can empathise with the OP, I made the mistake of asking a genuine question in forum when I was here last time, it involved the female G-spot. Like this post, I got a number of helpful, kind responses, but also a number of abusive, degrading and rude comments, including me not having the right to be on the site, and that I should leave if I didn't know what I was asking. So OP, take on board the positive replies and comments, there are lots of nice members here."

I would like to thank those here that have replied to the OP with compassion and kindness, it’s good to see that people can still be friendly here.

Hopefully those that thought it was funny or made personal attacks will learn some compassion themselves and apologise for their disgraceful behaviour

Well this was a roller coaster of a thread. I don't think I have ever had my faith in humanity shattered and then restored so many times in such little time before.

Goes to show a good number of people ignore their own failings and idiocy but love to jump on something that is well meaning, regardless of how naive. Generally such behaviour is to mask and suppress their own issues.

Good on you OP for just asking what you you feel you need to ask to feel secure.

Breast cancer can be passed on through families. It’s best you get regular STI checks if you are seeing an escort. Take care. "

Why do you need regular sti checks if you are seeing an escort?

I don’t think the poster was judging, just merely asking a question. STI’s can be passed through oral sex and escorts are very sexually active, some even do bareback sex, I know a man who uses one regularly and he is allowed bareback for an extra sum of money.

The same reason people need regular sti checks if they are having sex with Swingers. Or anyone.

But strictly speaking, cancer is not an infectious disease and cannot be passed on sexually or otherwise. Don’t confuse matters.

There are viruses and infections, such as hepatitis and HPV, that can cause cancer, but passing them on or catching them is not automatically cancer

That’s just semantics and is similar to saying unprotected sex can’t give you AIDS... because it can actually give you HIV which causes AIDS...

No it isn’t. I’m trying to keep it concise for the OP. You won’t get cancer from sex. End of.

And, although not 100% effective against HPV, the fact he’s protecting himself will make the spread of that very unlikely too

Sounds more like overcomplication and trying to sound smart than being concise to me.

Concise would be simply saying No, you can’t catch Breadt cancer, and practicing safe sex protects you from others

Step back...no one is being nasty...the Mods would be in like Flint if they were. People are incredulous, and rightly so.

No one knows everything but if your seeing anyone with an "ailment" and you're unsure, wouldn't it make more sense to go to the NHS website or Google? The op isn't exactly complimentary about this woman which is more of an issue in my opinion.

When did we lose the ability to disagree, challenge without being called trolls, bullies, woke etc?

What an absolutely dreadful post OP

Women who have or have had breast cancer are exactly that - women. They have the same desires and needs to be felt wanted and attractive as the any other women.

If the woman wants to have sex then that’s absolutely fantastic that she feels confident enough to do so. Some women who have gone through the trauma maybe don’t feel in a position to have sex at that time.

I suspect the OP is at it if I’m being honest.
