Spanking implements... whats your poison?

So I'm a keen woodworker in amongst everything else i like to get up to and it dawned on me as I was sorting through my scraps bin that a lot of the offcuts of hardwood I have kicking around would make excellent spanking paddles.

I know it's very much a personal taste thing but with the view tomaking a few up I thought I'd aske the forums for a quick straw pole on if a wide paddle with a good thud or a ruller wide more stinging blow is the more popular choice?

That will steer the production and who knows I may even send some of the naughty couples on here some of them to try out and give me feedback on!

I thought that would be the case. I can see there not being a clear divide so it might be that I look at making matching pairs from the same board!

Interested to know what others think though.

Matching pair sounds like a good idea as like already said these a market for both, I’m sure many have their favourite however I have found when I comes to impact play variety is the spice of life and I have play partners that like one or the other and both or none at all like Mrs she likes good old fashioned hand

Be interesting to know how much one could be made for

Something with a nice handle and a striking impact face around 10 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide

Nice polished area that can go across both cheeks

Mr bought one a while back that has different textured surfaces on both sides and each edge. It's about 4 or 5 inches wide and 6 inches long. It's lovely.

Unfortunately despite me being 6'3" and a well built guy so there is some strength available for a blow I was cursed with small hands for my size. Your Ass does look very spankable though!

Personal preference is to use my hands. Makes a lovely sound and the feel of spanking with hand feels more personal

I have a heavy leather spanker with a tyre grip like rubber surface on one side. Its a favourite of mine. Mrs Misfit knows she's over stepped the mark when that comes out (of course of her own deliberate doing). For me the best bit is that 'oh shit' look come across her face as her eyes come into contact with it. Her face and all her insolent bravado just drops. That for me is the hottest moment, more than the subsequent application of it.

Sounds very hot! unfortunately I'll not be making anything from tyres or rubber.

If you are carving this could you not make it double ended one wide and flat one thin and cane like

If you are carving this could you not make it double ended one wide and flat one thin and cane like "

I'll be re-sawing larger baords down to the appropriate size rather than carving but I see where your going. I wonder if whilst a thinner paddle would make little difference to the swing of the larger paddle the larger paddle would make control of the smaller paddle a bit difficult?
