"IVF,divorce, moving house by myself with two children. "

I never thought that moving house could be so stressful I'm in the middle of it right now and it's like there's no end of things to do

Going to war was pretty stressful, each and every time!

Major spine surgery was no walk in the park when faced with the long list of side effects, starting with death. Fortunately I'm asymptomatic!....and still alive in the middle of a divorce.

Having anxiety can make a lot of different things stressful for very different reasons.

Most recently was having to have surgery last week in the middle of the pandemic. All is good though.

Watching my five Yr grandson have surgery during his cancer treatment, and my 6mth granddaughter having a biopsy on the same day most stressful day I never want to live through again, on a positive note

My grandson is six and halfway through his treatment and doing incredibly well, and my granddaughter is 18 mths now and her tumour is growing but not aggressively and is benign for the time being so we remain upbeat..

2010, my mum died, separated from my daughter mother, moving house, my cousin died in a gas explosion and trying to complete my degree. All that shit within 4 months. The way I look at it, that's life and it's there to test you.

Walking out of my family home when I was - a very young, may I add - eighteen year old without knowing whether I'd have a roof over my head that night and all that followed. But to me anything was better than being unsafe in my own home.

After being in the mri scanner and still lying on a bed surrounded by doctors and nurses I was told you need an emergency operation and told

You may awake with a bit of your stomach missing , you may need a bag ( side passage) or you may not wake up

It was a lot to take in as the trolley sped off to the theatre

Burying our stillborn first son.

Watching our second son aged one minute being surrounded by doctors then rushed to a special care unit surrounded by wires tubes and medical staff, while my ex was surrounded by doctors fighting to keep her alive.

Feeling completely helpless hopeless and like I had failed them both, not knowing if either would survive.

My son, all grown up now, a much better man than I will ever be. My ex the best mother any child could wish for.

I'm rather blessed really....

Dealing with the loss of my Dad whilst moving home, rapidly expanding our business and looking after 3 children, 2 of whom were under 2 yrs old.

Looking back I don't know how I did it, it almost killed me. But do you know what, I am a fighter and survived, and it's made me a stronger and better person for it.

I am now very happy as times like that teach you what truly matters and to appreciate them.

Two spring to mind and very different.

Being at the hospital everyday with family waiting for my mum to die. We would talk to her, sing, laugh, cry just in hope she could hear us.

My first solo performance, the whole build up for the week prior. Costume malfunctions, choreography not working on the day

A little village

Aged 25, relocating 130 miles from family and friends as a single mum to a 3 year old, to a city where I knew no one, to work full time and study for a PhD. At the time I wanted to cry. Most days.

10 years on... It paid off.
