I send the odd wink. I like to receive winks and always say thank you. I see them as a conversation starter or just to show you're interested.

I dont quite understand the winking and expectations that the other party should instigate all communication though? If you wink you're claiming to be interested?

We would rather have an unsolicited wink than an unsolicited message. We see winks as an easy way to compliment and say we like what we see. We can then look at the profile and respond accordingly

I rarely respond to winks or random friend requests unless we have either spoken or they have face pics at the very least.

The ones that I really don't understand are those from blank and hidden profiles....whats the point as im either never going to bother with you or I simply have no way of responding anyway.
