North County

So Colm Cooper has called it a day, what a truly great player, 4 all Ireland's for Kerry and one at club level.

Definitely a modern great of the game.

Enjoy the rest gooch, defender's will certainly be happy you're gone, as will us dubs

The foot pass through to James O'Donoghue for his second goal in the semi final against Dublin in 2013 was a thing of beauty. He stopped and waited for the Dublin defence to come to him before sliding a low pass through to the now unmarked O'Donoghue. Coolness personified.

I was at that end in the lower hogan level with the penalty spot that day, they tore us apart first half, thank god for a great come back.

A magnificent player, like Federer in tennis, everything seems with little effort to the gooch, grace and class.

Had the pleasure of being in his company couple of years ago .and boy...is he a gentleman .had time to speak to everyone who approached him .being a big Dublin supporter I wasn't very happy with him during some kerry /Dublin games as he was so good .amazing player .and a very genuine fair guy during every game .

I don't know if this is true or not but the storie is after him and whatever lady he was with for the evening finished up the deed he would point and say you've been gooched

Great player though will miss him as a player but still wouldnt of shed a tear had Kerry never won an all Ireland in his time .

Country West

Class on and off the pitch he is..had the pleasure of playing football against him for my club a few times and he was a genius..One of the few players I could say was worth the admission money alone to see play

As a corkman he often broke our hearts. Class act though. One of the best ever.
