Gargle with warm salt water if you can bare it or if your throat is very itchy eat cold slices of cucumber

heres a good cure I have used for years and it actually does work . take a can or bottle of coca cola and boil it in a saucepan add to it a knub of fresh chopped ginger and the juice of a lemon and boil it for 2/ 3 minutes , drink the lot as soon as it is cool enough to drink and I promise you , it works .

best thing ive ever had was hot water honey and lemon juice, i had a terrible throat infection a few months ago and when the painkillers stopped working that was the only thing that helped!

sage tea, 8 fresh sage leaves chopped up, pour on boiling water, mix through a touch of honey
