Somewhere around

While checking on something with Google maps I noticed a "Mercedes star" made of trees in the woods near Ennis (52.847275, -8.961193 for anyone who is curious) which I didn't realize being there (I am not originally from the region, so it may be very well known and no one told me about it ). I initially thought its a peace symbol but its missing a line If anyone knows the story behind it please let me know

There is also the famous Latoon Fairy Bush that got the M18 rerouted. (Don't do any dogging there - the fairies wouldn't be too impressed and will probably zap you with some not so nice magic) Not to mention the M18 right next to it.

That made me wonder how many things like this are around. What special places or hidden gems do you know around Ireland that are worth having a look at?

a village near you.

I find ancient woodlands are mystery places. I found a spot in the Wicklow mountains which is very inaccessible. I used go there a lot just to sit in the landscape. I'd say I was the first human to ever be there. It was very peaceful.

My first time to have sex was in a room in seaside hotel, overlooking the sea. Whenever I pass by the hotel, I look up. Great memories.
