You are likely to have added to the list of deletes with this thread......it does no-one any good to moan.

Sounds like you've made the classic "expecting too much from this site" mistake OP - hands up, I was guilty of that myself at first, but having read the FAQ section and also chatting to a lady at a club, I've realised my chances of success are EXTREMELY unlikely.

To pigeonhole North East women into the alleged "rude" category isn't the thing to do though - I live in the North West and seldom receive a reply, so geography has nothing to do with it.

I was told by the aforementioned club lady that as a single guy, I have, to quote, "no chance", and having listened to her words of wisdom, she is right.

Does that deter me? No. I'll keep trying, and if I get a meet then great, but if not, so what? I've found these forums to be excellent - I've contributed to many a range of subjects from the deep and meaningful to the light hearted and humorous, and that alone gives me enough satisfaction and reason to stay on Fab.

Just get used to it, you come under the "single man" banner and are up against it - welcome to Fab!

Hope my input is helpful, however if not, I'm sure the "stamping feet" approach will have the ladies change their approach and get your inbox swamped with offers!

i was going to say way to endear yourself to the locals.... how to win friends and influence people....

or you got to any of the countless social events there are in and around the north east (and there are a load that happen) or maybe just go to a club....

you know.. show you can actually stand out in person!!!

judging by your "green arrow" how many of them have you bothered to put your name down for.....

its an example of sometimes using common sense to work out you have to help yourself "help yourself"......

and sometimes basic common sense and research is the difference between it working on here... and it not...

so... was the title of the thread using applied "basic common sense"?

does it entice? no... it automatically puts people on the negative....

so heres a quick tip... negativity... its not a really sexy trait!

Forming a few assumptions here but (as your profile is hidden) .... 11 weeks ago in the forums you said you were a newbie, 3 weeks later you ridicule North East women and you have continued to do this in various forum threads since then. There have been North East socials since you joined and it appears you may not have attended those.

Whilst it is true that the vast majority don't read the forums your attitude throughout does not appear conducive to someone you would want to meet and maybe that is coming across either in your profile (which no one can view) or your messages. You have wrote to us and we sent a polite no thanks back, despite it being clear that we are currently not meeting so we would question how thoroughly you read profiles, but a lot of couples and single ladies don't have the time to reply.

Just thought I would give you some feedback on what people can see from looking in at your time on fab. All that said we wish you luck in what you are looking for but try to chill out and you may have more success.
