"Yes, you are right guys, it was rather boring in the end! X" Agreed! The first 30/40 mins or so was good. Storyline was moving along nicely. Some captive moments for a first time swinger, which I'm sure people could empathise with. Then it all went a bit pair! There's so many directions that the film could have taken the story line, but it fell flat and short of expectation. Without sounding Pervy, I'd have liked it to keep on the "build up" theme. They could have had the couple pushing their boundaries and her reporting back to her work for a weekly/monthly memoir piece. Pushing it a bit more, as they fall deeper into it. Then maybe have the guy who was apprehensive at first getting more into it, and her at a point where she questions herself: The need to do it for her job versus the need to do it for her personal life. I think it could have been educational and highlighted some obstacles that may happen along the way, and then finish with a "and they all lived happy ever after" ending. But yep, from a potentially great movie and great swinging exposure, they brought it back to mediocre and had too many negative connotations to the storyline. No doubt they will do a sequel which will probably be where their swinging lifestyle dies a death through having two kids and babysitters letting them down!!!! | |||
