I'd say just use the filters, profile information and pictures to show what you are about. Get to socials, parties or clubs, there shouldn't be any excuses for those really? If you can't meet / attend groups due to confidence, then that's an issue I'd seek to improve away from here.

And messages - send good ones, as in personal, well written and include face pictures. I've sent two bad ones in my time and you get out what you put in. Just be yourself.

You know when giving advice can we please be more civil....it isn't very often women or couples ask for advice but the difference in how things are said are immense.

For people who are so obviously pissed off with giving advice...please stay off the threads as it is really isn't very friendly for anyone to read and is putting newbies off.

As the lady said, be proactive. Patience will not get you anywhere.

Nothing wrong with a cock pic or two but have it within ratio of other interesting pics. It isn't necessary to have 20 pics of your cock (even if they are all at slightly different angles).

Spend some time accurately creating your profile. As a single male, I had quite a lengthy description that included my values, boundaries, what I want, what I offer and also some humour and seriousness that projected my personality.

I believe this effort meant I was able to be successful (for want of a better phrase), sooner rather than waiting months and months.

I appreciate that not everyone can do what I did and sometimes you can not pretend to be something that you're not.

So if I didn't/couldn't do the above, what I would have done is:

1) join the chat and get involved so I got verified.

2) hit the clubs and meet people this way to get verified.

Otherwise, you'll be just one of God knows how many single male profiles and drift into the background.

And if I was looking for a single male for my woman, who is my world, that would not be the profile I want to have the privilege of doing something intimate with my woman. So have that thought in the back of your mind when trying to improve your profile.

took me over 2 years to get a meet that I did not know outside of fab. still working on finding a regular fb to play with but shift work plays havoc with the lifestyle

If it took over 2 years, I'd suggest creating a new profile because a profile with no meets over a length of time would suggest to me, not worth persuing.

I'd make a fresh start with a good rewrite, if I had no success within a month.

Yes these threads are tedious & repetitive, but this is unbeknown to the Op, otherwise they wouldn't ask the question. Sadly they are often given a hard time or take offence to things people say & as in the case of this thread the Op frequently disappears. Isn't it about time we had stickies on the top of each forum, as on most other public forums, it could just give short concise advice on the most frequently asked questions? Can't think of a good reason as to why this can't be implemented.

I tend to freshion my profile every couple of months regardless whether i meet or not. I try to make the odd social aswel. People learn who you are, whether they can trust you and your personality. Two big words there in the swinging lifestyle, TRUST & PERSONALITY.. I've been part of the lifestyle for 20 years plus and believe in those two things to enjoy myself and make sure those i'm with enjoy themselves

Try going to a social only event or evening at a club, these are usually free or lower priced and do not require memberships but each event and club may vary so check before hand xx

I didnt say you werent proactive, I was pointing out that if people take notice of the patience comment and sit waiting, the likelihood is that nothing will happen, therefore people like the op that are struggling need to get out there and put some effort in, be proactive, dont sit back waiting thinking that joining a website makes you a swinger and will therefore do all the work for you, its quite clear you are proactive.

You're probably contacting the females that have joined a few hours ago with (sometimes) hot pics and a short paragraph along the lines of "just split up with my boyfriend, looking for fun with males, females & couples" verbatim.

I suggest you look at females with an established profile and many verifications. As the lady said, a nice impressive email with a pic (not cock, as it would suggest it's better looking than your face) is most likely going to get you a result, even if it's a no thank you.

I'd ignore messages where i can't see the guys face in the message or profile, and tbh i get a lot of messages so can't reply to them all and ignore loads anyway. I do get mostly decent messages so, often it's not the guys fault he gets no reply it's just i haven't got time to reply to them or meet them so see no point in replying.

Probably for the same reason as you mentioned in your first sentence. not everyone will know where to look or what to look out for.

The best thing for people to do for now is have a bit of respect for how other users want to use the forum. If they want to ask for help, leave them to it if you can't be civil.
