Profile feedback needed

Hi all,

I have been having trouble receiving replies back from females who have read my profile. I have been told its good but if so why not many responses after it has been seen?

Can you wonderful people of fab have a look and give an honest opinion of where it can be improved please! Men and women feel free to feedback.

Quite simply, and I know this is going to come as a massive shock to you OP, not everyone you message is going to be interested in you.

Most, if not all, will check out your profile before even thinking about reading your message.

Your current profile is over a year old, and in it you state that you've been on and off fab a number of times and, I quote 'Long enough to understand how it works'

Yet you have just one picture, which, let's face it, could be anyone.

I'm struggling to see why someone as experienced with fab is asking this.

If you were a newbie with a 3 week old profile though...

It is considered bad forum etiquette to hijack someone else's thread.

It also creates a lot of confusion with respect of responses.

Far better to start your own thread

Hi Master, thank you for your feedback. Yes im a seasoned fabber and know the score however recently i have been getting lots of views but no responses and thought id ask for second opinions. Because im seasoned doesnt mean i always get it right and a tweak or rewrite may be needed. Hence why im asking.

I know its a numbers game and im not going to be everyones cup of tea, thats not a shock to me, im not naive. Im just trying to increase the hit rate.

You have more than 8 verifications? In which case you're in the top 5% of single men on Fab.

Recently you've not not had yoyr normal response rate, like in the last 18 months you mean?

I dont mean meeting people. I mean replys back on messages. Once i engage in convo i can really be myself and thats when i normally secure a date. Its just the lack of replys to messages recently thats the issue and i dont know why. There must be something thats not encouraging someone to reply.

I know this is ridiculously picky of me but I wouldn't reply to a message with missing apostrophes or without using a capital I. Especially when the first sentence of the profile says they are intelligent and articulate.

I'd suggest two possible factors for the lack of replies.

1 solitary profile pic.

18 months of Covid restrictions.

Thats smart phones for you! It is lazy on my part to keep hitting the cap button everytime I put an I. Nice feedback, thank you for being picky.
