What is the deal on introduction meets on the park bench?

Is this site still on guard for people arranging meets. as the warnings look the same as last week/month?

This is now an opportunity to arrange public meets, say on a park bench? Nothing illegal or against the so called rules?

This plays perfectly in to the hands of those that say no fun on the first meet.

Thoughts please or is everyone (just on this site) refraining from neutral public meets?

New rules, can we have some new guidelines here. Meets at 2m are possible so let's stop saying that we can't meet.

Fab, you need to update the meets section. Let's all get with the programme instead of being lockdown remainers. After all we need to get on with brexit too.

So this site is not a site to meet people then?

People have to learn not to revel in snitching when someone wants a 2m meet.

There is no problem here asking someone else to meet, though there was before as there was a culture of enjoying the fact that people could grass others up for arranging a meet.

Let's get back on it now, meet and make friends first.

No reason not to. Its completely allowed. Im sure the planned march in Manchester the weekend will not be so heavily regulated or criticised. Have fun meet people if you feel safe and distance. Let's face it. This is long term! May as well figure out a new way of life for the foreseeable. Social distancing is here until they find a vaccine, they are not even sure they can make it yet. Even after the vaccine it will be months as they need to vaccinate the entire globe. In all of human history we have only made one virus extinct. I don't think its unreasonable to test the waters in a safe way. The message has changed now.

Something tells me a lot of women will not meet so as not to tempt fate or allow further requests to get closer indoors.

I am not really sure why you are concerned at me suggesting a meet on this post. How does this affect you in any way at all? Why be patient when you can meet, yet more confusion?

Simply to arrange a meet that might get the ball rolling. That way nobody needs to moan about not having sex on the first meet. A lot of people on the site were eager to grass and drop people in it, just look at the forum posts. Name and shame. No need for all that now, let's have some positivity. Start by making friends on a meet. Again why do you need some patience for that (wait for what, until we can meet as normal)?

I would imagine, lots of people do have Sex on first meets if all parties are agreeable (We have). Clearly we have differing views on when we feel it is safe to go back down the meeting up road.

It appears you just can't get a straight response or answer in this forum?

I can see in the meets section that the info is there, but would like to know how many people have actually met even if each other just pokes each other with a sterile stick (as suggested in a message I received)?

I'm thrilled that it is now OK to meet people socially outdoors & I am gradually beginning to do exactly that with good friends and family. There are many people I'm looking forward to being able to see, but random strangers off Fab are not a priority & won't be for a long time.

There's nothing currently stopping you from arranging meets with willing people from here if you wish OP, the "meets" function isn't necessary for that.

I beg your parden, why does it concern you? To be honest, I am getting bored with the lack of freedom and not meeting people. It's the same on dating sites, no actiivity. Yet most will say no sex on the first date, so meeting at 2m pleases lots of women thank you very much, but still no positivity.

It's you that is causing the confusion by saying I need patience. Patience for what, until my fricken balls have dried up or what? Let's get on with it, all the fake news about is getting dull.

At least we agree on fake news, as for your balls drying up, it would appear preventing this seems to be the point of your post rather than the social aspect. As for dating sites, I'm sick of them being flooded with horny men not interested in dating but only looking for a quick shag to empty their soon to be shrivelled balls. Once again, fab are following government guidelines re people meeting. From your answers it would appear that you are looking for a quick shag, hence the rush. I don't see how I am confusing things by using the word patience either, perhaps this is a concept you don't understand or aren't familiar with. Very off putting.

Be honest OP, you’re not looking for a socially distanced meet at all. If you were you wouldn’t be mentioning your balls or be so desperate for Fab to allow you to ask for it. I imagine folk like you are the very reason that Fab haven’t changed their approach, as to allow us to post for socially distanced meets is really just facilitating full on meets, which are now actually illegal. We’re not going to be able to meet physically for a long time. It’s going to take some adjustment, but I think you and your calls are going to have to entertain themselves for a while.

I actually created a post earlier to state that we would be on the beaches by June. The stupid replies on here from trouble causers actually infuriated me at their insistance of being imprisoned in summer. We were on the beaches before June but then had constant moaning about crowding when it was all fake news.Those fools were wrong but yet they still reply to posts with thicko replies.

We will be meeting and shagging before summer is out. Understand and stop replying on here like trolls (here we go)?

I've had a warning from site about meets. I'll own up publicly now and say I have had one! BUT. We complied completely by both social distancing rules, travel limits and in an open and public space! I'm a real supporter of this site, firmly believing it to be the best and most reliable available, however I would appeal and ask for a little common sense from some of the 'jobs worths' administrators?

It may well be illegal.... But it's also unenforceable... What are they going to do, break into your house to catch you in the act?

Or wait outside the house, when you can just deny it, and they haven't a leg to stand on....

Nope, just rules, hence why protesters will flout the rules for a cause. They know the numbers will overwhelm the Police and now the Police won't be seen to bully individuals or couples as that would be preferential treatment.

We managed to meet two cpls and a single guy in the park at a distance and we enjoyed the show .

As long as we keep a safe distance and there is no physical contact then it's fine .

I'm happy to use the site for the forums and chat rooms as I have made some good friends and like to organise the more social side of things now. It's rare I meet new people, meeting is only a small part of what the site offers. The current rules set by fab are sensible ones for the moment. I can't see them changing until we have the social distancing lifted.
