I just ignore those profiles, I think you can set filters to not recieve messages from unverified people.

This has been mentioned before and people who have belonged to paid sites say it makes no difference x

The verification system works just look for more than one and then check the person who has verified them. If both only have one or two especially after some time on the site they are both probably fake....

Harder to spot are the genuine experienced swingers who lurk behind very sparse profiles because they don't like the attention. Some of our best meets have been from people like this.

Not everyone wants to be on the Most Fabbed list - they have a life outside swinging...

As that one crack implies the superiority of the OP and anyone else who can afford a frivolous £240 a year over those of us that are already having a hard time in the credit crunch (and yes, I work) who would simply not have that much "extra" disposable income.

It gives a sense of "long live the middle class".

It all depends on what the profile is looking for & where they are situated.

We've been classed as time wasters in the past because we have no meets (on this site, we have had meets from another site but they don't count do they), BUT we are only looking for single Bi fems (or at least a women in a open relationship). There's a hell of a lot less of them, than couples so of course we're going to struggle.

Just like the person living in a village is going to have fewer numbers of people available to them, then say someone in London.

Don't be so quick to judge those with no meets. They may not necessarily be time wasters.

We've chatted to quite a few time wasters (they've certainly wasted OUR time) but have been verified & have a list of meets.

There is nothing wrong with they systems the site has in place now, you can not expect the site to do all the leg work for you. Many "timewaswters" take advantage of peoples laziness but it does not take much work to them out. We for example dont meet unless we have spoken to the couple on cam in chat or infact anyone we might meet, by doing this we can at least see who we are thinking about meeting. We might then look at their verifications to see if the actually do meet, after that we might exchange numbers. Nothing is full proof but we havent had our time wasted yet. All it takes is a litle effort.

totally agree.I just think people are expecting fab to mother them..NOW STOP! ur too old to suck from mummies tits..

perhaps its unfair an opinion yes, but I have uised the internet for over 10years, from the infancy of textchatrooms and dialupinternet lol

easier rules to adhere to if finding things problematic are:

webcam chat(for identify if thinking fake)(dont sit around happy wanking with the meet, as some end up just using that to get cheap online thrill)

phone chat(use a cheap disposable number)

the verification system(if it shows meets is beneficial,JUST to show the people meet, not for judging sexual promise/performance)

try adding this all together and u basically have 90% of the requirements to get validity of who u are wanting to meet.

*Generally Ive never had any problems, and rarely ever webcam, and think I do well as a single man..but I most of the time will think if it is too good to be true it might just be a pile of shite windup..I lack the gullibleness to venture out the house on meets that dont do what I want on the genuinity front.If I lose out on someone real..och well..its only fucking sex.

I've been using internet swinging sites since May 2006. I started off on a pay site, and had a lot of problems with time wasters. Then I moved to another site that wasn't a paid one, but had a huge community. I use that one and this one now. I refuse to pay, why should I?

However, I don't put the lack of time wasters on here and the other site down to whether it is a paid site or not. More to my own experience of not taking any shit, and knowing what to look for.

I think those that experience a lot of time wasters need to either re-define what a time waster is, or look at their own selection process. Because there is one thing your time wasters all have in common. You.

Can't agree more, this is by far the best site we are members on and the only one we will pay for as its so bloody reasonable. £5 for 2 months... Why wouldn't you?

Here's an idea though and it may sound completely mad, How about if you get messed around by a timewaster report the profile for it ?

An heres another idea for the site owners once a profile has been reported for timewasting block the I.P. address from making any more profiles.

I have reported a couple of profiles for various reasons and the profiles are still on here

Admin you keep saying if you have a problem then report it and you will take action ..... If we are keeping our side of the deal then please keep to your side of the deal and get rid of the idiot fringe in here xx

Nearly all IP addresses from ISP's are "Dynamic". Meaning if you switch your router off, wait a couple of minutes and turn it back on, you will have a new external IP address. Please note that the IP address you can normally see (192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.244 or another private range) is INTERNAL and is not the address your system presents to the world.

Any way.......you didn't turn up for our meet last night! I'm reporting you to admin and getting you blocked!......Now what are you going to do?

Maybe site could add a calendar to profiles. When two profile agree to meet they both enter date on calendar, if one doesn't show up other profile hits calendar and reports to admin. Calendar then sends automated email from admin to party not shown up to ask for reason, if admin think reason is poor they could issue a red flag that's displayed on profile for set time, if admin think reason justified and automated email could be sent to profile let down.

Red flag then tells other users potential time waster. Could even do it where red flag stays on profile until a met has taken place to prove genuine

What would be a poor excuse to some is a genuine one to others.

I spoke to a woman last week on another site who had said she had reported someone for not turning up an hour after they were meant to be meeting. Turns out he was 2 hours late after getting stuck in a jam on the motorway because of an accident and did turn up after all....he had sent a text but she didn't get it until after he got there.

Things do sometimes happen that are out of peoples control.

Or maybe we should have a system where we're all microchipped - then upon arriving for a meet you could 'scan' the other part, which would feed into a complex data system recording time, date, location, height, weight, cock length, tit size, eye colour, any visible tattoos and scars - and is you subsequently scanned again at the end - would also record the length of the meet, the number of orgasms, the volume of decibels of any moans, size of cumshots and whether condoms were used or not?

Would verify any claims of 'size', 'repeater/heavy cummer/gusher/squirter' claims often seen on profiles as well as pinpointing locations via GPS to ensure 'Flossy from Finchley' isn't 'Derek from Djibouti'?

That should solve any issues re time wasters eh?

As has been said above everyone's idea of what is classes as 'time waster' will be different

To some it will be arranging to meet and not turning up to others it will be ignoring a 'wanna fuck ?' message

If you use all the tools that are in place ie filters, preferences, blocking etc and add in common sense, the site works great

Just need to remind yourself sometimes that if they look and sound to good to be true - they probably, but not always, are not what they seem x

This site is a bit of fun in free time. Sometimes your free time isn't as free as you thought it was 3 weeks ago when you Rrange a meet. If we have to start synchronizing calender entries and other admin tasks that's just gonna sap all the fun out of it!!

Regardless of which site, pay or not pay, adult site or dating site. You will still get the sad time wasters that have nothing better to do. You will learn after a time to suss them out. But there are far more genuine nice people out there. If you don't like some one...block them...if they don't turn up don't waste your time with them again....you never know they may have a valid reason for blobbing........prob not but you never know.......

Problem withy verifications is that you only see the good ones that they choose to publish. We've had people with a few verifications mess us around big time.

I was thinking that members could get a certain number of tokens. When you agree a meet you both put a token in a virtual "pot". If the meet goes ahead you get your token back. If one body cancels or doeasn't show up they lose their token, and eventually have none left.

Tokens would then be visible like a star system on each profile.

Complicated.

And to the previous poster I have reported those that haven't shown up, nothing happens, their profiles still online, so in all honesty reporting seems pretty pointless. And for record I had messages on here from said guy who claimed ten minutes away, yet never showed up, turns out was in chat room all night and had no intention of turning up, reported via message he sent claiming on way and reportedwasin chat room duration of night, guess what, his profile still on line, nothing happened to him . If red flag system was introduced, and flag given if sufficient proof, ie, messages saying on way etc, then that would help those when making a selection. The guy that failed to show had verifications on his account, so seems being verified means nothing either

As far as timewasters go, I work on this simple approach, assuming its someone I've known for a while (been chatting maybe 1 - 6 months) AND they are within reasonable commuting distance, say 1 hour or so):

"So lets talk logistics - which month, your place or mine?"

And if I get:

"Oh I don't know, I'm really busy and got loads on - not enough time to play so can't plan ahead really"

In the mean time ... there's one meet 2 days later.. andother 3 days later.. another the next day... and carries on for the next 6 weeks.

A crude example. Now I'm not saying the person is a time waster, but I likewise won;t let the person waste my time while I'm supposedly kept on the back-burner till they remember I'm possibly still hanging about waiting. I've moved on.

Now I never rush in - but I think 6 months is more than enough time for someone to decide if they want to meet or not, especially if they;re only an hour away (which covers most of the M25)

I agree with you dragoncatcher, I'm a genuine respectful single guy and a single dad of 2 young teenagers, I'm suck of the majority of idiotic single guys that spoil it for its genuine ones, free would make it difficult not just for then but for others such as myself that as kids to support!!.

As a single guy with no veris its hard to get that first meet. As soon as I signed up I was probably put into the "waste of time single guy" category. So you can't judge people on veris alone. And also, cant you choose to hide them anyway?

And 20 to 30 a month is a joke. You'll loose more people who are interested in swinging then anything else.

I'm just living by the rule that all the time wasters will let them selves be known and through the power of elimination, I will get that first meet

Nice idea, for those that can afford to effectively write off £240 per year.

As there are quite a few single guys on the site and it is accurate estimate to say that 95% of then do not want single guys getting in touch with them so they will drop out immediately.

So if a fee is levied to join what do you want extra for your money? because if the site is giving you everything for free now, it should be able to give you something extra for the cash it collects from you.

Of course there is a down side, there may be mass desertion to other sites who will still be free and the numbers on here will be so low and probably be out of your area that you do not get the number or quality of meets you expected.

some genuine people might not have extra money, i.e. may be on benefits or a tight budget. why dont you just meet site supporters then, they pay for extras. surely timewasters wouldnt

I do feel sorry for people that put up a fake profiles as these people sit a home on their own with no friends and have nothing better to do with their lives. We have as much chance of winning the Nigeria lottery as getting rid of them, so we just have to live with it

The fakes unfortunately are those who get a kick out of the site, they may even get off on arranging a meet. A £20 fee would not rid us of them, my guess is many of the fakes are married and on here on the sly. You can spot most by there verifications and by checking people who have verified them, a lot of messing I know but it does save going to a meet that wont take place. The best place for meets really is a club, that way if they don't turn up there is still a chance of having some fun, therefore not a total wasted meet. Just my opinions though I cant stand timewasters many clubs get people to advertise through the meets section, unfortunately we have to get on with it.

We chat to people on site ,if we find them interesting we will ask if they want to meet u. At a club for fun ,if they don't turn up there are plenty of couples or single guys we can play with and the odd single. Fem that will join in with couples,we get a few party invites too.if I am horny during the day I may look on site for fun,if I get time waisters on there its only affects me and not wife ,so I ignore and move on

It seems fairly simple to me. Although it will not stop folk from timewasting, why not only allow a period of time to get photo verified and after that period say a couple of weeks stop them from messaging.

I am sure this would cut down the number considerably

Verification does not happen when people refuse to meet you not that you have refused to meet! I've been looking to meet for so long now and haven't been successful... Does that make me a timewaster then?

I have had a few meets and not verified, you dont have to tell the world what fun you have had, many couples choose not to broadcast meeting a bi man

Firstly I do not to wish to pay £20.00 a month to use this site. The fee currently for Silver or Gold membership is totally fair and doesn't leave me feeling remissed.

Secondly where are all these 'Time Wasters' everyone talks about. Surely they don't identify themselves as such. Use common sense... if they aren't site verified, web cam or meet verified then be cautious. Be weary of giving out your telephone number to quickly. Correspond with them via email get a sense of the person(s) you are speaking to.

Thirdly getting people who are genuine to pay more will only cause more grief. Paying more isn't going to get rid of the people on here who copy others profiles and photos, or guys who pretend to be women, or guys who pretend to be part of a couple. All they need is to create a new email and they are up in running again with a new profile. Fake profiles will always exist... check how long they have been on the site... a year you say and no site verification or meet verification... i just don't even bother.

Use the verification system (which is the by far the best i have ever seen on any site like this)... be weary of anyone that seems to good to be true. I've been on here 3 years - and other then occasional stupid emails and grudges from other users i really can't say i've had my time wasted. If i have: it's because i didn't take head of the verification (or lack of) or because i didn't use common sense and listen to my 'Spidey Senses'...etc.

I'm happy with the current fee for membership... i still don't know where all these 'timewasters' are hiding and why everyone has the need to talk about them all the time. Surely more time is expended talking about them then interacting with them i.e. choose not to.

Here's an idea though and it may sound completely mad, How about if you get messed around by a timewaster report the profile for it ?

An heres another idea for the site owners once a profile has been reported for timewasting block the I.P. address from making any more profiles.

I have reported a couple of profiles for various reasons and the profiles are still on here

Blocking IP addresses is not that simple these days. Many people have their routers set to a floating IP address which basically randomly changes several times per day, therefore your IP addy changes. I think the best thing you can do is to basically ignore the timewasters. You can privately inform your friends of personal experiences of timewasters and eventually word will get round. It is annoying I know, but no matter what you do, they will always be here.

2. No activity on account for four months - account removed. (less on search option)

3. Automated fem response button, 'thanks but no thanks'

The rest is common sense when looking for potential meets.

Agree with all except 3 why just a fem automated response we are all equal why treat fems as special case. Yes i know they will proportionately get more messages but to treat as special case i cannot agree with.
