Thinking of attending but looking at the website it seems quite a strict dress code? Trousers and shirts only for men etc

Which doesn’t put me off but normally like to be a bit more casual

Is this enforced strictly?

Well as you will need to pre-register to go there, why not ask them?

They are pretty strict on dress code though, they have these things called "standards".

Shirt and smart clean trousers and proper shoes should be fine. Obviously Football shirts, vests, shorts, ripped jeans and/or trainers probably wouldn’t cut the mustard!

If it says trousers and shirts, its pretty casual as you won't need shoes or socks

Have you applied for membership and been accepted? I believe its memvers only and I know from experience that we single males take a while to get accepted (I'm still waiting on mine)

Fingers crossed for you, but I've tried a couple of times and they have never got back to me. There was a forum post about the club and its a common thing for single guys

Not all that North of North London

"Well as you will need to pre-register to go there, why not ask them?

I've never understood how a suit is 'standards' it seems a throw back to 1980s pubs and clubs dresscodes.

Surely smart jeans and a shirt are fine

I guess they have to make sure there isn’t 100 men to every female member

I have been twice —- first to try a new club did not like it personally so small and cramped no privacy areas not enough play areas to be fair.

Second was just to give it another chance and although I socialised and joined some really nice people I just could not handle the small size of the club.

As for shirt this is not the case yes a collar but it’s not trousers and shirt.

Hope you enjoy it but don’t be put of by club's just by attending this one there are some other great ones about.

I agree, I’d rather they just say “no” than ignore my requests. Very strange

London clubs aren't great. Le Boudouir turned down my application because I mentioned my Fab profile name in an email when they asked for more info/ID.

The other couple of clubs are all out of the city.

I've a trip down in a few weeks and my Friday is looking pretty dry
