Xtasia or Chams for first timers

Hello guys, we are excited about our first time at the club. Wondering which one is recommended for newbies. We are thinking Friday or Saturday night this weekend. Thanks.

Chams is our favourite but it depends what you're looking for in a club. Chams is dress down so lingerie or towels once you get in the club. It's also a wet club with jacuzzis, sauna and steam room. You take your own alcohol, they sell tea, coffee, soft drinks and food. Xtasia has more of a nightclub vibe and is much larger. It's been ages since we went there so can't comment on facilities there.

Chams is couples only after 7pm on a Saturday.

It's also worth checking entry requirements on their websites. Chams are asking for proof of 2 vaccinations on the NHS App or negative test recorded on NHS website.

I think as first timers both clubs will be good, they both well run with excellent staff and facilities and if you say you new at the door to either they’ll make sure you get a welcome tour.

People say chams is dress down - but it it’s dress as you please so as woman you can still wear what you like sexy dress, naughty outfit underwear or naked or just a towel. Xtasia however while you can still dress up, it’s generally frowned upon to wander about naked or half naked outside the play areas….one thing to consider is have you ever been to a nudist beach vs a normal beach/pool. If you ask most people the thought of a nudist beach would be more scary, but actually everyone being naked/or nearly naked actually normalises things, you’d feel more awkward being dressed on a nudist beach than you do worrying if you you look good in your outfit on a normal beach.

Chams is more of a Warren in layout so you can wander about and stumble on “activities” rather than _tasia where you have to go directly into the play area, which actually can be more intimidating. So while _tasia is larger chams as more areas to play both privately and shared, and chams as more areas that you can watch without being directly thrown into the activity .

Xtasia is good for a normal bar(buy as you consume), large dance floor and some of the events like foam parties.

Xtasia also has the separate pub for some now new mixed single/vs couple only fun that’s different depending on sat or fri night.

We enjoy both clubs but actually think as new comers then chams would be a good start and then mix the two depending on the events nights of the week etc they both great.

We’ve enjoyed both bet

I’m considering these two clubs for my first time as well but I’d be going as a single male so I’m not really sure how welcome I’d be? I saw that Xtasia does fetish/kink nights so I think that will be more suited to my interests. Has anyone been to a fetish night there? The humiliation event sounds particularly appealing to me.

Although both clubs are fantastic clubs, i would think Chams would be better for newbies,but only by a wisker, but both cubs offer lots of rooms and theme rooms, lockable or not, sauna's juccussi's glory holes, both different in their own way, but as far as i know Xstasia is the only club to have a ladies only play room and a ladies glory hole, have fun in finding out lol x

Personally we would always recommend Xtasia on a Saturday night as a first club to visit.

We say this as most first timers can feel nervous and to dress down in a towel, can be a bit overwhelming. Of course women can wear sexy underwear/outfits and men shorts to reduce this, but again others will be anything from outfit, to towel to naked. Quite a lot to absorb. Also the walk through the club with all eyes on you can feel a bit more intense than Xtasias.

As Xtasia is more high street nightclub look and feel, this is usually a better fit for the transition from vanilla to swinging clubs. You may prefer and find it sexier with people dressed up wondering what’s underneath, where Chams is you’ve jumped that step.

Both clubs are fantastic, different and very enjoyable in their own way.

But as both are couples only on Saturdays and you have some good opinions of what to expect, you can decide on the actual night how you both feel, which might be different to how you feel now when the excitement and adrenaline kicks in.

Stay aligned and have a great night. x

Definitely _tasia not only is it less intimidating as chams for us guys to be made to walk around half naked but find it more sexy to see someone in smart clothes

Clothing removal adds to the excitement once we start playing

Xtasia is far the bigger club and has more varying play areas not to mention a large nightclub size dance area where you can chat before playing

Bar prices are great too

The pub next to it makes a great place for pre drinks and a game of pool where people can get to know each other before entering the main club

This would be our recommendation to find your feet. You’ll have a blast there and then once settled, hit Chams. You’ll have a blast there too.

Whatever you decide, you’ve got two completely different clubs in approach, two different layouts, two different experiences, two different nights (not that any two nights at any club are usually the same), but two fabtastic clubs on your doorstep.

It's why we've never been to Chams as we dont want to be forced into dressing down and prefer the dressy up part before it comes off.

_tasia does or at least did have showers, hot tub and sauna in the basement to add into the nightclub mix.

You could also try a Sat night at Liberty Elite not far down the M6 off the A5 near lutterworth.

Wine bar style club with dance floor, various playroom, massive hot tub and play area.

As others have said its all down to personal preference. Both venues chams and _tasia are run by great people and great venues. For us chams wins, we feel it has a more relaxed fun vibe feel to it..whilst men are dressed down women are more than often dressed to impress, club dresses lingerie etc..we find that this helps create a more relaxed atmosphere, separating the play areas from main social area for us doesn't work as well. we enjoy the mix of it all..social areas and play which you find more at chams than _tasia. Exactly the same for us. We prefer the more relaxed vibe at Chams and it has a more natural flow in our opinion. However we all like different things. Fortunately there are a lot of great clubs to appeal to everyone

Which one would be the best really boils down to what sort of things you guys prefer. Both are very good clubs, both very different.

Chameleons is very relaxed and easy going. It's a great place to causally socialise and be comfortable. Although not every newbie is comfortable with the idea of dress down, once your in its really not a thing and you'll be at easy with everyone else no problem. Also IMO dress down helps break down social barriers.

Xtasia great club if your not happy about dress down in maim areas or the whole dress up/suited and booted thing is a big part for you. Also great if you like the night club vibe (Chameleons also has a dance floor and DJ Friday/Saturday). And of course on the right night/in the right areas good for fetish.

Also Chameleons is bring your own alcohol and Xtasia is all drinks bought at the bar if that's a consideration to you.

Personally we would say Chameleons (it's our favourite club) but which every you try you can't go wrong. Hope you have a great time.

Saturday you will struggle at Chameleons if your looking for guys. The only guys there in the evening will be attached and I'd say most of them will not be looking to or at liberty play alone. Simply as I guess you suspect the ratio will be all wrong. Friday night if you could make it would be perfect. The weekend party buzz, busy and more importantly plenty of single guys.

Having said that single guys are in on Saturday before 7pm (I think that's the cut off). If you came for opening around lunchtime there's normally a few in daytime Saturday. Fill your boots Saturday afternoon and then party with the other couples for the rest of the night.

On Saturdays we now allow single male members into Flirts bar where we have the bar area, a 40 man cinema, and a massive new playroom for fun. They are not, however, allowed across into the main club which remains couples and ladies only. So, as a couple looking maybe for extra guys at some point in the evening, you can go to the main club, and enjoy the main nights theme, but wander over to Flirts whenever you wish to see what lads are around for an hour or two of single guy play. Hope that helps. (and a foot note to another post above, the sauna was removed 10 years ago) lol.

Given your preferences, I think Xtasia does make sense.

As you have two distinct areas; Flirts (Pub with separate play area), Xtasia (Nightclub with separate play area), you have the option of going either night:

Friday single men/mixed in Xtasia, couples/females in Flirts

Saturday single men/mixed in Flirts, couples/females in Xtasia

Couples/Females can bounce back and forth between either venue, where single men are confined to the one space designated for them on their given day.

With this in mind, you can stay in the couples zone and then sample the mixed. At least you’re spoilt for choice and decide if there’s no luck in the couples, you can try the single guys and easily jump back to the comfort of the couples area if you find it overwhelming, or just wanted fun then back to social with the couples, or whatever works for you.

The important thing is don’t just do it for the sake of it. If it feels right for you both, then fill your boots.

Both clubs are safe and go out their way to ensure you are comfortable.

Totally agree with this. Xtasia was our 1st club visit (T had been before as a single) & I was so nervous but made to feel very welcome. I’m not as comfortable with dress down but have had a couple of good nights at Chams but I just prefer Xtasia for some reason. Saying that, we’ve not been to either for a few years.

We would recommend chams on Saturdays as single men have to leave by 7.30 it is couples and single ladies only after.

If you try the round room you will have a few guys or the cinema room.

It's very daunting going to a club for the first time, Xtasia would be a better choice as you can dress like a normal night out and not have to strip off when you get in. Chams has the better decor, not sure if they still do the pre-play buffet!

We are members of both but like _tasia as the atmosphere is laid back and pub/ bar like in feel so eases you into the night. For us the fact you can go in fully clothed was one thing less to worry about or feel self conscious about. The Friday night can be a little much for newbies as there are a few single men around which can be intimidating on a first visit. Saturday as everyone has said is a couples night so would be a good call for a first time. The staff are great and a credit to the club and helpful and friendly.

Chams is good but different. We have only been to the bi night on a Monday.

Xtasia gets my vote. Being a night clubby atmosphere you can dip in and out of the play rooms as you please, it's also a great social space. I do like to dress, personally I think it's a shame to have to dress down when you've put so much effort into an outfit. A bit of mystery goes a long way.

I'm a single female and found _tasia on a sat night (couples and single females) perfect. I felt no pressure and could walk around quite comfortably.

Attending on a kinked Ink fetish night there was lots to feast my eyes upon and occupy my tiny mind.

i don’t know why people keep saying in chams you must dress down, it’s simply not true.. the difference between chams and Xtasia is you can dress down in chams or wear you’re clubbing gear, amazing outfit and high heels. in Xtasia you must remain fully clothed and if you go to play rooms which are separated off from main bar/dance area or go in jacuzzi etc then you must get dressed again once you have finished… you can’t walk back into main club without being dressed in all your clothes again.. for ladies that’s probably less of issue (apart from trip to jacuzzi) but for gents, wondering if your trousers, wallet etc is still on the floor of the room is a bit more of a pain, and by end of night having had to pull your trousers up dust them off for the umpteenth time and now hot and sticky it would be good to be able to dress down a bit more. Chams also has multiple bars , two dance areas and far more play areas and rooms than Xtasia, Xtasia is great don’t get me wrong, but sometimes can feel like it’s just a nightclub and then you have to go find somewhere to play , which actually can be more intimidating than just stumbling across it and watching from sidelines like you can in chams, due to its more sprawling layout and some play areas merged with club areas, equally when people eventually do go and play in Xtasia due to the limited size and limited amount of rooms you can find nowhere to actually play sometimes..

As I say though we are blessed to have both clubs in Midlands along with liberty elite a bit further away. Which equally good, they normally have a dress up till 11 then you can dress down if you choose policy on their nights.

They all have great staff, members and both host some amazing nights along with their normal nights. The foam party at Xtasia is great..

But just don’t believe the messages on here that in Chams you must strip naked or wear a towel…it’s simply not true, and not Saturday nights all the ladies will be dressed in their best sexy outfits, with multiple changes of outfits through the night, till they too hot and having too much fun that they then half naked or just in their towel..

Xtasia still remains a favourite

Quite right chams ladies can dress how they please but not a great sight for us guys walking around in a towel all night having to constantly adjust it

Xtasia has no dress down policy people can walk around the whole club in what ever they feel comfortable in they can remain dressed or wear a towel if that's what they fancy

Many ways to carry a bank card from small wrist bags to handbags

Personally we prefer to see the couple undress before play it adds to the eroticism
