Stourbridge

KTM Comet Grand Prix with Clio on bars. 50cc

Used to go to school on it (well, 6th form)

RD 125 two stroke twin Yamaha

Then Z650 Kawasaki but never bothered with test. Took a few spins on mates bikes and then circumstances meant I had to get a car and couldn’t afford a bike as well

The RD 350 LC was nuts , very narrow power band , difficult to keep front down.

A highly tuned Honda CBX1000/6 frightend the life out of me one day and I’ve not really ridden since those days.

I had the 250lc, but like any boy racer it had to be tuned to the max, until I realised 350 barrels would fit, ho my giddy eye, what a difference, never ever have I had so much fun on a bike to this day.

Haha yep, my early biking life went 250LC,350LC, YPVS(x3) NS400R, GSXR750 Slabby. 350LC's were so much fun but I'll be buggered if I'd pay what they want for a good one now!

Me and a mate did a world tour(well part of it) for a laugh on c90"s back in the day.

Sure it was the most produced bike in the world at one time, you could be 100 miles from a big town in a village and someone would fix or repair it with anything to hand.

Happy days
