| For context, we’ve been attending Rio’s for over 15 years. Sometimes weekly, sometimes not for months on end. As dirty stinking Vapers, we’ve not been going very often since the council introduced their smoking ban ( I’m not going to get into the difference between vaping and smoking in this review - the issue was noise, not the method of nicotine ingestion!)
Anyway, we went tonight. Now, we’ve always known that Rio’s is a bit seedy but, for a long time, that was actually part of the appeal, however; tonight it was without a doubt the worst experience we’ve ever had and that includes other Spas and other sex clubs. (In fact we’ve had better nights at funerals, only in the last couple of weeks!)
Where to start…….. the price has gone up, the facilities have gone down (big jacuzzi still not working, towels are now face flannels and the heating has been turned down considerably), the staff are fucking rude (NOT on reception, or security - they are lovely and quite apologetic about how bad the place has got! The ‘bar staff’ are rude, they lie ( some people are only allowed a face towel whilst others are allowed THREE large towels), they ignore you (unless they know you from being there previously, in the two week they’ve worked there!), then suddenly your wine has gone after one glass each (not pint glasses - obviously!)
The clientele, which was always dubious, is now made up of obnoxious males (and surprisingly females tonight), who are rude, expectant, immature and worse of all, wearing their dirty piss stained pants into a jacuzzi, because they’re too shy to show off their tackle and giggle like school boys when they glance a tit.
Sadly Rio’s is winning the ‘race to the bottom’ and it is only a very short matter of time before they are given no choice but to close due to either a significant criminal incident, or a total lack of clients!
If the new management ever pay attention to the reviews on here (which is blatantly not happening) we’d be happy to talk through the issues we see and suggest ways that they can try to reverse the inevitable happening!!

| I have been at Rio's on thursday 3 weeks ago. I had just ok experience. Few gays tried to approaching me but I'm not interested. Few nice interesting ladies around that was socialising with others. I have socialized with a nice girl that use to be there twice per week. Not everyone naked. I will give another go on Friday. May be this or next Friday. |

| Was there all night Saturday 20/12, it was very quiet and the big jacuzzi was off. I still had a good time though, I love the staff and the regulars are all decent people who give off good vibes, it was a nice opportunity to just relax. Will be back in the New Year x |

| This a long overdue disappointing review.
Sadly it lacks enjoyment with various items broken .
Towels seem a huge issue lack of staff working.
Some real nice Sunday staff 100% to them.
Friendly crowd on Sundays too..
Its not the place I fell in love with pre 2020 or since they introduced the ULEZ Charge.
If they could take up a different place outside London and build a much nicer place it would work really well.
SAUNAS are not huge but bigger ones with room to really relax would be brilliant.
steam rooms cramped and guys annoyingly opening the door ever couple of seconds .
The big Jacuzzi is never really working and the two smaller ones cramped if you get 6+ in them.
The swimming pool is not in great shape..
And the middle of the building is kind of chilli in winter time.
The smoking ban was ACE move 100%
They should do same with Alcohol
Its (health) spa !!!!
Ban swimwear too or remodel RIOS..!!! |

| It would be great if the management could introduce a new policy and rule in place for both (male & females) not wear (dirty ) daily wear underwears specially inside the wer facilities like pool and jacuzzi. Noticed a bunch of boys (young Romanians) in their daily use underwear in the swimming pool. Trust me "It was unhygienic". It would be great if the boys could at least change into swimming trunks if they are hesitant to go nude in a nudist spa. |

All facilities were great, shame no smoking anymore but them the rules

| I was excited to to visit Rio's as I've been to similar spas abroad. Overall vibes were okay, they provided towels and light refreshments.
Only real negative point was the guys in boxers opening the steam room doors every 5 minutes to see if there were any women inside.
If the nudity rule was a little bit stricter, I don't those guy would attend.
But will definitely attend again, as I get some great people.

| Leaving a review as regulars are messaging asking when we’re going next and it won’t be for a long time. We were really disappointed with our last visit , we’ve been going once or twice a month for a few years, even when the tube was shut as it was our favourite place to go and chill/play/hook up, but the other week the guy behind the bar was so rude that we probably won’t be back as it’s spoiled our whole experience (this wasn’t the usual long term guy who has always been lovely).
There are no longer any big towels, usually when I go in I check in our wine when I get a big towel from behind the bar but as this isn’t an option now I gave my partner the shopping which was in my rucksack, asked him to check the wine in and put the rest of the shopping in his locker because it wouldn’t all fit in mine. He checked in 1 bottle which is all he thought I’d bought, when I said I’d bought 2 he went back to the bag for the second bottle and took it to the bar. We were then asked to leave for not checking both bottles in straight away even when I explained it was a mistake on my part for not doing it myself as I usually do. When my parter then asked for the other bottle back that he’d already checked in with the bar maid the guy accused us of trying to steal it because someone else who had been in that day had the same name as him.
It had always been a good place for us as we like single guys, the jacuzzis to chill in and lockable rooms. The usual older bar staff are really polite and we have always been happy to pay to get in to use the facilities, but as we went predominantly for hook ups there are plenty of other places we can go where the staff are welcoming and appreciative of the atmosphere playing couples create. It’s a shame that one member of staff felt the need to berate us both and throw us out for a misunderstanding that I apologised for and spoil the whole Rios experience for us. |

| Been a few times before and met some nice people, plus it's always relaxing.
The pool needs a bit of work, it's falling apart, but aside from that the facilities are fine.
Most people there are nice, a few were a bit rude especially when you're trying to talk to someone else. But they're regulars so I guess you just have to ignore them? |

| Went on Saturday with two lovely Ladies for the afternoon. Both very bubbly and naughty. The jelesy of the little boys was hillarious. Rios is always fun and saturday was no acception. Great day with great company. I did not even notice I could not smoke! |

| Went 15/11, stayed 3pm until 6am on the Sunday, yes you read that right, for 15 hours of spa and relaxation the £34 fee is good value. The afternoon until about 8pm was very quiet but it was nice and chilled, time to read a book on the loungers, have a couple of drinks and something to eat, you have to bring your own and can take in a bottle of wine or 4 cans per person, given it’s a spa that should be plenty! Numbers picked up during the evening with a fairly good number of couples and a few single ladies, seemed to be slightly fewer packs of guys although still a high ratio. I can understand how some women will get put off by guys following them around but most of the women are ballsy enough to tell the guys to respect their space and generally they do, and no most of them are not masseurs and probably don’t get to break the seals on their bottles of baby oil :) Some of the smokers were back, and probably going through cold turkey! but it was good to see them as they do seem to be a really nice and fun crowd. As always the staff were great and on top of serving drinks, collecting up towels and dishing out new ones. The large hot tub went on at around 8pm and surprisingly stayed on until around 5am despite it being quiet at that time. Possibly slightly fewer people wearing shorts/bikinis, but still too many for what should be a naturist club, I do try and show that being naked is perfectly normal. All in all I like Rios and will be back next month, also happy for you to tag along too x |

| What a great experience last might a decent spa naturist in the city, it’s our first visit amd we enjoy it, beside with a guy we don’t know if his working there as his offering a massage and his holding a baby oil, I was scared at first but my BF always with me and his stop following us. All in all is good. We look forward for next visit |

| Rio’s you have done it again!
Only my second visit after a fabulous 1st visit. As it was a Monday afternoon, I had suspected that it would be dead and my only expectations was a good sauna, steam and jacuzzi.
Surprisingly the vibe was great, there were 3 couples and around 8 single men. A further 2 couples joined over the next two hours.
I was lucky enough to join a magnificent French couple for some fun.
Outstanding couple of hours. Surely my third visit can’t be such a success…. |

| Went on Wednesday with my friend, for a first time it was relaxing and nice to meet a few people there too. You’ll get lots of eyes but take it as a compliment;) shame you can’t smoke, not the biggest issue though . Staff behind the bar were friendly and warming, would be nicer with more women. So men, just try and make it more accommodating for the females, give them space, have a bit of control, respect and discipline and never expect too much, remain humble . Still got more to discover in this side of life ;) |

| I went on Monday with a female friend. Like the previous review, the staff were great and we enjoyed the facilities, but some of the strange single guys were annoying which really ruins it!
Following us into either the sauna, pool or hot tub just because she (a young attractive woman) was there. And if they're too slow to get into the hot tub for example as there's no more room, standing nearby and staring. Knocking on doors, etc.
Seriously guys! I mean wtf.
My advice gents, go for the naturist spa, lose the grotty boxer shorts, and just enjoy the spa. Stop doing laps of the place hoping to get sex. Enjoy the spa, and maybe you'll strike up a conversation with someone which might lead to something. But this is always unlikely and a rarity. So I say again, just go for the naturist spa, anything extra is a bonus. Your creepy stalking behaviour isn't going to encourage and more ladies to come, but the opposite.
Oh, and my friend left before I did as she had to get somewhere. A single guy hung around the exit, left when she did and confronted her outside. Luckily she's able to deal with such confrontations. But seriously guys, what are you playing at.
Long review, apologies for that. I just hope the message sinks in. I'm sure there are some women who go that like to be railed by as many guys as possible. But the behaviour of the vast majority of solo guys really does spoil the venue for the minority of solo men/women and couples.
We will be back to enjoy the facilities, but I'll be by her side the entire time. |

| Went last Friday night with a female friend. Facilities and staff were great, but some of the single guys were annoying. The constant knocking on the door when we were in a room with a couple of single guys was too much. My friend is a bit loud and a few guys who weren't let in stood outside the room mocking her. The thing is, we went there because she wanted a bit of a gangbang, and if they had been less rude they might have been invited to join. Would go back but maybe during the day. |

| Vibe was good.
It honestly didn’t feel too sausage-festy. I think because there were couples and there is 3 female staff too. Balance was ok tbh.
Seemed very str8 orientated but had one guy wanking in the steam room when I was in with him, he was half hiding but I told him to crack on.
Not sure the rules. Think you are meant to be in a play room for play but seen fun in jacuzzi and a little in the showers.
Great to see all size and shapes on there enjoying themselves.
Got extremely lucky to get invited to join a mmf in one of the playrooms. Great enjoy to a good night enjoying themselves facilities.
Will be back tomorrow evening to see what a Friday is like. |
