One of my lovers sent me a long list of things she saw in me. It wasn’t meant for a profile, and I never asked for it—but it stayed with me so I thought I’d share since it sums me up far better than I could ever write.

She noticed my playfulness and my softness, my sense of humor, my voice, my height, my freckles, my smile. She said I was confident without being loud about it—gentle and dominant in a way that felt safe rather than performative. That I was affectionate, romantic, generous, and attentive, both in life and in intimacy.

She saw how easily I move between being silly and goofy and having serious, curious conversations—about music, art, design, culture, psychology, politics, AI, parenting, sexuality, trauma, addiction, food, books, animals, and whatever else sparks interest in the moment. She said my mind was sharp, open, and genuinely interested in other people.

What mattered most to her, though, was how I made her feel: comfortable, seen, heard, and not judged. That I noticed people’s qualities, held space well, laughed easily (including at myself), and wasn’t afraid to look honestly at my own darker corners. That I cared about growth, integrity, and kindness—not as ideals, but as something practiced.

I didn’t write any of that. I’m just someone trying to live into it—curious, emotionally present, open-minded, affectionate, and human. I value connection that’s playful and deep, gentle and bold, embodied and thoughtful.
