Although I'm from and currently live in Brum, when I was 18 I moved to London, where I lived for 19 years before moving to Somerset, where I lived for 7 years until COVID hit and then whilst visiting my folks in 2020, I realised the time I'd been waiting for had finally arrived, and it was time to come home and start caring for my elderly parents.... which I did (as was my honour to do) for the last five/six years

They have both since very recently sadly passed on within a month of one another (May 2026).

As such, I'll probably only be in Brum for a few more months now, sorting out their affairs and tying up loose ends, etc.
