I’m a biker, but I don’t swing my leg over the saddle much these days. The reason for that is that I had a very big bike smash in 1993. I lost the ‘whose right of way is it anyway’ argument with a Peugeot 406 and I slammed into the side of it at about 70mph. I broke both arms, three ribs and my spine at T3, 4 and 5 (around nipple height). After seven months at Stoke Mandeville Spinal Unit, dodging Jimmy Saville, I was discharged as a fully-fledged Para. Alas, not a hunky red beret or medal-winning sportsman, just a standard T3 complete paraplegic. In layman terms I am paralysed from the chest down…

So, I’m no longer a ‘master swordsman’ as I have ED, but I am very, very good with my hands, lips and tongue and subscribe to the theory that your brain is your biggest sexual organ.
