Anyone else scared with what’s happening, scared of what could happen to your kids. I like to think of myself as not easily put off or intimidated by things but current events have played with my mind past few days, worry about my 6 year old

However I do think fear is natural. I am off work atm (non corona related) so am able to stay at home with my kids but when I go back in a couple of weeks then I suppose the fear of picking it up and bringing it home to them will probably creep up on me Plus I won't be able to take them to my parents now when I go back, due to not being allowed to move between households so the situation unnerves me more than the virus itself scaring me if you get what I mean xx

Yep I'm scared, not usually easily scared but this totally unknown & to see your grown children crying because they're scared or they've lost someone close is heart breaking. Sad times for many X

It's a bit scary yes. There are some still just not taking things serious enough. I just hope they or someone they love doesn't get ill or they'll soon be screaming about it!

It is the uncertainty which i find daunting as i fear things will get alot worse before they get better. I am a healthcare worker so managing to cope under the current stresses but know people are so fearful they are not sleeping or eating through worry. Stay strong. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Let's hope the light isn't a train

I think everything will be fine, the media don’t help matters I think honestly they make things 100 times worse

Spot on.

If people are anxious about the current situation then I'd urge them to avoid the media, particularly social media and the red tops.

Get your information from balanced sources.

These are scary times. And it does baffle me how a lot of people are not taking this seriously. Unfortunately I am still at work because my company seems to think that we’re essential workers even though we’re not. Struggling for child care and not happy about having to go out to work at the risk of catching it and passing it on to my already vulnerable child.

Not just for you health, but the health of everyone, please stay home and if you do have to go out for food etc. Please refrain from taking your whole family with you. The only exception to this are single parents who have no choice, but I’ve seen both parents with all their kids in tow out and about in the last few days. WTF!!!

Stay safe everyone. The sooner we beat this nasty virus, the sooner we can get back to swinging! Sending virtual hugs to all of you. We’re in this together. Let’s overcome it together too. Do the right thing and STAY HOME!!!
