Being as I'm now out of work and won't be cooking for other people's mothers I'll be making a dinner for the family, something I haven't done on a Sunday in a long while x

My mum has requested we don’t waste money on flowers this year, but get a nice box of chocolate biscuits, or selection of cheese instead - something her and my dad can eat.

Sensible request, in the current situation. But still one that I wish she didn’t have to make

Sadly not spending time with my mamma this mother's day. At her request, I will be dropping her card and gift to the front door, little wave at the window, and back home to have my own mother's day

Unfortunately my mum isn't here any more. I shall be working so at least I will get a Sunday roast and will have my daughter working with me as well
