Heads of the Valleys

I was working with the old man before rendering a wall outside.

Freezing cold and even starting snowing. The single mam didn't offer us a cuppa all day. So my old man asked for a glass of water in hope of a cuppa and she came out with a glass of water lol

As tradesman myself I know what its like to not be offered a cup of tea or a biscuit. We always give tea, coffee or squash. Miss hoolie even did bacon sandwiches for the stone masons

Pontypridd

Our street recently enjoyed weeks of chaos with all the gas pipes being renewed. Not just the mains but the pipes into meters inside houses. We took it in turns to ply the workmen with drinks, cakes and biscuits. Poor buggers were out in all weather sometimes 10 hours a day.

In my experience as a television engineer, ether every customer you visit in a day offers a cup of tea or coffee or none of them do.

As a construction worker, any time I get offered a cup of tea or coffee it is much appreciated.

If I ever need to have someone come to my place to do work I usually let them get set up first and then offer them a brew.

land of the rising sun

I deliver furniture. Most of the time we get offered a cuppa, sometimes we get biscuits. Once I had a lady insist I take cake with me. In the summer we get cold drinks if were lucky.

Most of the time we refuse otherwise we'd be constantly stopping for a pee
