This is a timely reminder, that the law states all are innocent until proven guilty. The press hound and publish details of speculation and label people’s guilt before they have the chance of a fair trial.

It is also a timely reminder that “suspects” are exactly that suspected not “guilty” “have done it” “probably done it” and I for one believe the same safeguard measures need to be taken for suspects as do victims.

Whilst the victims or alleged ones hence I prefer the term “ complainant” get regular updates of the investigation, checked on contacted, the “suspect” is left to suffer each day wondering will they be wrongly convicted? How will the pay for things? What about their kids, job, family.

A chance needs to happen and sadly these stories are all to common and are and always have been one too many.
