Whatever you prefer, makes no difference to us. However if the people in question are getting wasted we would leave as that's a different story

I don't drink and He likes one or two but can take it leave it. We once left a meet as the gy got so wasted he couldn't stand, talk or say a word.

I much prefer everyone to be sober if I meet. Clear heads are always better than being clouded by alcohol or other substances. Just a personal preference

I like a drink from time to time.

But do you really want something that dulls the senses on a meet?

I guess it could relax those who are particularly nervous though.
