Hey everyone

I logged in this evening to loads of messages so read through them all asvi do, checking out the profiles.

I then get a message from a couple (who I was going to reply to) that stated

"How dare you not reply after meeting them, we are better than them"

When I tried to reply it says I'm blocked, I'm just a bit hurt as I didn't deserve to be treated like that and what the hell makes them think they better than someone else.

Sorry for the rant but is this normal?

As harsh as this sounds....you'll learn that people will call you all sorts, send you vile messages, block you, abuse you the whole 9 yards just for being you!

Read a message and reply = abuse

Read and don't reply = abuse

Don't read = abuse

Add a new pic = abuse!

There are some wonderful people on here though they are just hidden amongst the nutters, fakes and general tw@ts!

Don't take it to heart I'm sure there'll be a few of us to compliment you shortly! X

Thanks guys, I've only met two couples but one has already left after a real bad experience but we still texting and the others were really nice genuine down to earth people so I just thought it was harsh how they thought they were 'better'

If you go onto the conversation you had with him, you can also block him, this stops him from being unable to unblock you & try to mail you again (ive had this done to me & its how I learnt).. Good luck babe & dont let the bastards get you down..

There are some very odd couples here with a very high opinion of themselves and their self worth.

Thankfully they make themselves known very quickly and are then easily avoided.

You do get nutters on here and infact the couples seem to be more nuts than the singles but you will soon out the wheat from the chaff!

Agree with the comments above.

When we first joined we had a similar experience.

So now just read all messages and delete and block the ones that are abusive and block the sender.

Thankfully don t get many these days

Just always remember its only words and words can t hurt you

There are strange people on here, I winked and fab a pick, read the profile before message and noticed they don't meet married men so I didn't message, I then had a message ripping into me because they dont met married men, didn't ask to meet lol,.

Just move on and dont worry about them OP.

I've seen it all on here over the years and you will get those who think they are gods gift and that you should meet them and you will get others who are abusive even when you are polite.

on a more positive note I would say that the nice people out weigh the negative people on here and it shouldn't have any effect on how you choose to have fun.

Unfortunately there are a fair few entitled nut jobs on here. You’ll soon develop a thick skin and learn to treat them appropriately. Be grateful you didn’t meet them. Imagine the fallout if you met socially and decided against taking it further

Unfortunately, nothing surprises here as the site can attract both the lovely and the vicious and unhinged. It does come with a steep learning curve.

Don't let it knock you Op. At the end of the day, they're complete strangers in a virtual environment.

I wouldn't worry for longer than the 10 seconds it takes to counter block them.
