I never would believe on here that this was such a big issue and for women to be seen as the 'time wasters' is rubbish as I've found out men are certainly prolific at wasting ladies time

You can tell the time wasters they open a profile arrange a meet shit their pants when someone agrees then blocks people and close account

Just got to ignore them

Most men are decent on here but you can’t blame single ladies and couples for being wary of them

Timewasting/ers is more of an issue on here than it used to be.

One way to cut down on it/them is to hit the socials, clubs and parties.

It's by no means a perfect cure, it's still possible to chat to someone, and then get strung along or ghosted afterwards, but it's much less likely if you have already met them face-to-face.

I think there could be a page for this but not if there was a change of heart and decided not to meet for some reason, but take for instance I had arranged a meet back 8 months ago was given an address so got ready headed off to so called address to have some women answer the door and didn't have a clue wot I was on about, at that precise moment I wanted to disappear I was dressed borderline slutty, now I look back a laugh about it lol but wasn't funny at the time trying to explain I'm to meet at that address with a couple off fab

I’d class someone that didn’t show on the day without good reason and not before. Just because someone has engaged in conversation certainly and made an unconfirmed plan with you doesn’t mean it’s a timewaster in my opinion

But why would you do that, its not like because they are unverified they are virgins or something?

We'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt but put less energy into meeting unverified & certainly wouldn't be making travel arrangements without a lot of preamble.

There's currently a single fem profile on here, been on years, verified by meets, chatted nicely a bit yet as soon as we suggested a video chat to prove we were not talking to an ex fella whatever the conversation stopped dead.

Only one conclusion to be drawn really. Far too many fakes on here including some verified ones.

I think a lot of them are just fantasists and dreamers, bored at home wondering if they got what it takes. The thing is, asking for a meet too early and you get labelled as pushy and too long and you're a timewaster. Personally, I prefer an early meet because you get a better feel in real life if you want to take it further.

I've never stood anyone up and don't plan on it now.

I dont think you can class sending and receiving multiple messages as timewasting, but certainly arranging a meet and getting let down at the last minute could be classed as such.

We never arrange a meet "on the fly" so to speak, we take time to get to know people, and if they are new and unverifed we take steps to assure ourselves that they are "real" i.e. if its a couple or single fem, we want them to prove it.

Once we are happy that they are what they say they are, we move on to arranging a meet, but we are aware that real life can throw a bit of a spanner in the works, so we are flexible to the possibility of having to re-arrange.

We never leave the house without doing our "due dilligence"...and in over 10 years we have never been stood up once.

I dont think you can call that luck.

IN REALITY there are people who specifically trash members postings to a degree that the OP is obviously visible these individuals make frequent statements as they think that they now more than anyone else.

Unfortunately this stops other members posting.

All in all their chosen desire to do this is definitely equivalent to naming and shaming.

There are smaller socials that dont require veries.

This doesnt help with the shyness, but with less people involved I'm guessing it might be less daunting.

We were all newbies once...and, I'll let you into a little secret...we still get nervous now too lol!

I have been called a time waster recently and then blocked. I literally went to work and didn't respond to her last message as speedily as she may have liked. What defines a time waster on hear? I would suggest its arranging to meet someone and not turning up and or dragging out with someone with no intention to meet. Not being busy!

In my relatively short time here I’ve been let down 9 times for socials meets. Each time I was dressed and ready to leave the house or en route...one time I was actually sat in the venue. I block instantly. Also had a social meet with someone and arranged to meet again 2 days later but was then ghosted.... now that’s a time waster!

If you’re just chatting to people and not arranged a meet, that’s a different story if they loose contact for whatever reason.

I’ve had to cancel a social once or twice due to family issues but I give plenty of notice.

Seems to be getting worse lately. There should be a method to report and if more than 3 people report then they get timed out for a while or something. I don’t know how to get around it being abused but a system like that may work.

It’s frustrating when you’re busy and fitting people in for them to not have the respect to even message.

Not replying is quite simply not interested or no time at present or whatever other reason. But striking a conversation, showing interest, arranging a meet and then no longer replying or whatever is what’s annoying and time wasting.

I get that life is first. But if you’ve arranged something’s just say you can’t anymore lol.

To me a time waster is either someone stringing you along with no intention of meeting, or who arranges a meet they will not go to.

If you change your mind, there's nothing wrong with that as long as you communicate.

Just don't leave people hanging.
