Best to go to an organised social. Cam veris are generally seen as a joke - they prove nothing about who you are, (apart from male) how you socialise, whether you look like your pictures in real life and whether you actually have the guts to turn up. Don't think that just cos you are verified that meets will necessarily happen. If you want quick hook ups then other sites are available.

I think the rules changed recently and men can no longer be verified by cam. You’ve been here long enough to have attended a social. Loads of guys don’t attend socials but get meets. Maybe you need to look at why you can’t get meets rather than assume it’s because you’re unverified.

Where is my sense of entitlement. Obviously your perception is off. I dont feel entitled. Where the community spirit around here. Ohh wait there there not one. All I've asked for is help. I've had advise and I'll be taking that advise. Simple as that. No entitlement here. Just a couple of jumped fabswinger activist bullying people because somewhere down the line they've been hurt. Then put people in that hurt box and pre judge them and act like total pricks instead of a polite reply. And you say I have a sense of entitlement

I didn't get the hump. If you read the order of my reply you will see that I was very thankful and said I would look for the next social. The someone said I sounded entitled. Then and only then did I respond accordingly.

Always try to remember that the forum users make up a tiny % of people within the scene in Wales, as already said get along to a social or two and you'll be fine.

I'm really tired of this unperty this is a different site rubbish. Its swing snobbery at its worst. Look I asked for help, I got advise, I was thankful and happy to take the advise. Then out of nowhere somebody says I feel entitled. Then this barricade of bullshit.. I think you as people should be ashamed of yourselves. This is actual bullying on a social website. Ganging up with individual perspectives because let's be fare life is all about perspective which create different realities and there for we all live in a different bubble. I dont get it I said I'd take the advise yet people go out of there way to be rude and try to belittle me, even change me as a person. If I cant be me and ask for help how I as a person may ask for help then theres something radically wrong with this site. I've asked for HELP and what was just trying to interact nicely and and ask for advice seems to be a few jumped up there own asses trying to enforce fabswinger eticate, I am terribly sorry (Not) for seeking help and advise, and in future (which is never again) I'll tread even lighter on my toes (even though I didn't offend anyone first)

Look OP it was this post that made you come across as entitled imo. Pretty much saying you cannot fathom why you aren't successful here because you are successful elsewhere. That screams entitlement. It is one of the most offputting traits. If you read through similar posts you will see what I mean. If you feel bullied because of this then I apologise but other people are allowed views on the forum whether you agree with them or not. I was just pointing out why you may be struggling on Fab as that was the reason you started the thread. Hope your luck changes soon.

Every social scene is different. Every situation is different. You wouldn't barge into a cricket club and expect to be called in to bat instantly. You could sit there saying your gear is great and you're an amazing player and you should be captaining the team. You're even less likely to get a game than you were at the start. Listening, finding out what the dynamic is, being patient. That's what works.

I agree, you didn't get the hump , sadly this is the way on threads like this, people who have been doing it years think newbies who ask for advice need to do as they say and sometimes make out they are doing something they are not.

Try not to let this put you off posting for advice, there are plenty of friendly people about who remember what it is like to be new

If anyone wants to give advice that's fine, but don't brow beat people into accepting it ( although he did on this occasion about socials ) or twist what people say as it really isn't friendly to newbies who are asking for help...avoid the thread instead
