Point for discussion. Do you find that winks are of any benefit?

Do you check them regularly? What is the purpose of the wink and what becomes of it?

Interested to hear peoples thoughts on it

We much prefer winks, they're less intrusive & allow us to look & consider. If we wink & get one back or a message we'll chat. If someone winks us & we think what we see suits us we'll message X

We use the wink system, if someone winks back then we'll message.

We do get a lot of winks from people that clearly hasn't read our profile unfortunately and also winks from profiles that have no pics and half a line of info.

I don't get too many so I'm always happy to receive one, they're a good ice breaker.

I can imagine they'd be an irritant if I was getting as many as single women get on here.

Winks are a good way to get an indication if someone is interested. However they always seem to get lost in the amount that women tend to get on this site. Same as messages. At least with a message you have a better chance of standing out. Providing you avoid using the same ‘fancy a fuck’ tactics that a lot of egotistical arseholes use.
