Looking for somewhere new to park up for the weekend.

Would like some water- beach, lake or waterfalls. Somewhere scenic.

Do any of you guys wild camp? Feel free to throw us some suggestions

Sassy

Wild camping is on my bucket list this summer...watching this thread for tips. Went to the Beacons for first time last month, would love to explore there lots more.

I'm a bit apprehensive about going on my own though.

I'm heading down to Llangollen on Saturday 10th August. Should be sleeping in the event camping field, but am often tempted with a quieter spot. Any ideas?

I'm up the beacons wild camping all the time, if you have a good pair of boots I can show you my favourite spots!

The smaller coves and beaches in Ceredigion are lovely for wild camping

It’s a good shout actually. Definitely the most overlooked bit of the path in the area - other stretches are hugely busy at the moment and there’s moves by the National Trust to clamp down on overnight stays on the land they manage too.

I don’t wild camp as such, but gravitate towards the more remote and wild campsites in Wales. Happy to share thoughts.

Btw - there are some excellent Wales-based photographers who wild camp on Instagram.
