Safe sex ALWAYS ! Do people not actually read news and see things about the highest levels of sti's in young adults atm ! Come on its not a hard scenario to answer yourself !

Its not the younger members who are the problem, we are constantly asked by the older element to go bareback, usually after lots of chat & on one occasion after a social meet where we had already made it clear no glove no love

Well my own profile - says ONLY safe sex - nothing else - would never consider bareback with anyone! This day and age - I would expect them to respect me by using one and then I would respect them.

Read in the paper yesterday that theres a very big rise in STD's in over 50s so its not just the younger generation thats taking chances

I cant beleive someone is asking a question about this?...if they are asking to go bareback perhaps they have a dose (or worse) already and want to spread the gospel!

In the vanilla world..when you meet a new partner and start dating, YES...and then get tested, its unreasonable to discuss the suject and BOTH go for a test..

In the swinging world DEFINATELY YES!!!!..its not just them you need to worry about, its all the ones down the chain..if they, and all their partners, and all their partners etc all had 2 different partners a month your 64 times more likely of catching something..

Now do the maths over a year!..

according to this months BMJ STIs and HIV have doubled in the over 50s in the last 10 years

Had my worst meet off this site last week, 40 year old educated guy who made excuse after excuse why he should not wear a condom. Shame there isn't a way of writing bad veris to warn people that they have to post!! Suffice to say we did not have unprotected sex....

We would happily bareback with everyone......... in an ideal world.

In this ideal world, contraception would be fool-proof, STI's wouldn't exist and the really nasty stuff like HIV etc would be the stuff of fairy tales.

But.... in the real world we live in, the risks are many and varied, so we "bag up" every time!!!
