How much should I be paying to install a new cooker circuit?? Already an appropriate circuit breaker in place, cable to go down a wall on the surface, through easily removed floorboards and then buried in a wall down below plus switch??? Il be replastering over the trench myself!!

Cheers

CARMARTHEN

If the installer is certified then pay the money, you should not take short cuts with electrics and anyone that says it should be cheep has no respect for human life.

£300 , that is over the top.

Ask for a breakdown of costs, and what he is supplying

£100-£200 absolute top
