Possible spoilers. Game of Thrones will return to TV in the US on Sunday 14th April 2019, simulcasting with a UK broadcast in the early hours of Monday 15th April on Sky Atlantic. It will then be repeated in the UK on Monday evening.

We are so excited, the count down has began. Anyone else into the show? What's your fav characters and best things about the show so far ?x

I’m a huge fan, going to a viewing party with friends if that can get there arses in gear! So much so I rewatched the whole series to get pumped, which sucks because now I want to see it even more! Arya is my favourite she is such a bad ass kind hoping she ends up with Gendry!

We might go to friends too. We did last yr. I sat at the end of my seat. What ending to series 7. But there were some fantastic episodes and some well deserved grusome deaths too lol

Think there are 67 episodes so far and u have about 41 days to catch up so proberly 2 a day. I rubbish at maths lol

My friend just started and watched 6 straight off. Could stop lol.

Wow that's some commitment! Were the first ones well made by today's standards or are they a bit disappointing? .....a bit like watching lord of the rings again when you have seen the hobbit.

I'm buzzing for it. I can't actually say who is my favourite character is as so many that were have been killed off already. I love the Dragons and when they turned Viserion into a white walker dragon I cried. But it's opened up a whole theory of who the white walker king is.

The fact the walker king can ride the dragon I personally think he's gotta be related to Daenerys Targaryen family as they're Dragon riders

I'm envious of anyone that hasn't seen it , would love to start again without knowing what's going to happen , i was a late starter and watched series 1 to 7 in about 4 weeks , that feeling of anticipation when the music comes on at the start

The Theme music gets me excited every time. I watched the first series then stopped for a few yrs then watched them all in a few week as everyone was talking about it. Glad i did. It's my favourite show ever love

Have any of you seen many of the youtube theory vids? Bran = The Nights King!!!! I've thought that for ages. Also Bran is Bran The Builder, who built the wall! And There always has to be a Stark in Winterfell because Bran had to be born!

I predict the bitter suite ending being that either John Snow has to kill Bran orrrrr John Snow has to become the new Nights King and then he'll sit on the Throne!!!!

Love GoT and can't wait for S8.

Some of the acting and plot holes are a bit questionable to say the least. And the pace of S7 was awry too.

Still great TV though. Fav character - has to be Tyrion.

Best looking has to be Missandei with honorable mentions for the Sand Snakes, Ygritte, Sansa Stark and Melisandre

Apparently it's going to be one of the other stories in the got world. Check out some of the other books he's written. But the main ones that is hotly tipped is the Hedge Knight series with Dunk & Egg or the Story leading up to the battle with Robert Barrathion and Rhegar Targarian. What ever it is, the same producers are doing it so should be good.

It’s apparently going to be about Aragorn’s back story, but they’ve said it won’t tread on the toes of the films. So far there is 5 seasons booked in by amazon so hopefully they don’t mess it up!

It’s apparently going to be about Aragorn’s back story, but they’ve said it won’t tread on the toes of the films. So far there is 5 seasons booked in by amazon so hopefully they don’t mess it up!

I think the children of the forest created the white walkers after the arrival of mankind to westeros, as the men were killing the children off. The walker king should be the first killed by the children of the forest.

That’s how it was portrayed in Game of Thrones but according to the HBO synopsis we are going to be told the true origin of the white walkers at a time that there was no Kings landing etc, it’s a shame though that we didn’t get to see the Baratheon Stark battles with the Targaryens, I would have liked to have seen them take over Westeros.

Resurrecting this thread having just seen the latest trailer on Sky.....

I am predicting..... Winterfell will fall, the two remaining dragons (Drogon and Rhaegal) will die in saving Danaerys from the changed dragon/Wight mount (Viserion) who will also perish in a 2 for 1 to remove the dragons from history once more, however, Rhaegal will have been pregnant and has left eggs (a clue is in the trailer). The Unsullied will be lost as will all of the Nights Watch. Danaerys and John will retreat toward the capital with the dragon eggs and will also die in the final battle for Westeros at King's Landing which will also be very costly.

Everyone we know will die. Except Bran and Sam Tully. And then took a very long walk along the bottom to get back to dry land lol.

Next week's looks absolutely stunning! Somehow they are managing to ramp up the tension! Episode 3 by the way is nothing but the battle for Winterfell. Wall to wall, start to finish. It holds the world record for the longest ever battle scene. Makes the Battle of the Bastards look like a children's party.

Ummmm. Yeah. All I will say, apart from jumping up and down on the spot like a toddler with tourettes wanting more, is that.....

Yeahhhhhh(in an exhaling fashion) .... In my mind they saved the best 'til absolutely last. Uh huh. I actually feel satisfied having invested 8 years, countless stupid o'clock viewings to avoid the spoilers..... Yeahhh. To me, well done. It worked. So many laughs, so many fist pumps, so many' everythings'..... Wait. Am I coming across as a fan now? Because, that's totally not the case..... Okay?

I will be buying the complete boxset. Ya'know, for historical references and that (who knew that dragons don't need a bed of gold to sleep? Fuck you Gandalf!)

I am Happy with the ending of season 8 and majority of it makes sense,but not happy at some of the Death scenes and endings and some deserved a more gruesome death...lol...will buy the Box set for Christmas....what to watch now...?.

Theres so much I want to say but trying to avoid spoilers.

I know there's online partitions with over a million people so far who are not happy with the writer or how Series 8 went. The head man in charge of the scripts got fired apparently its his input that's been incredibly until this series.

For me there were huge disappointments especially with the deaths of some of the main baddies.

Extremely disappointed at the finale. But it must of been so difficult to find an ending.

We have all grown to love these characters over the years, and we know now (exception of spin offs) that this is it. No twists,no turns,no what ifs. And i guess it completed a full circle.

Will be missed,but will always be remembered as a classic,in my mind anyways.

I didn't mind the ending. It had some good bits and some cheesy bits but GoT has been like that from the start. The pacing over the last 2 series has been awful but that's because they had an end point to meet and didn't have the books to go on.
