Hi, we're thinking of attending Chams for the first time sometime soon. Is it only open on Fridays? We've not been to a club in a fair few years and thought we'd give it another go. Feeling a little nervous and excited about the idea.

I was quoted £106 by the staff for my first visit as a single guy very recently, then it's £30 a visit after. Membership lasts a year before renewal. You don't need to book but it is first come first served with the entry and they work to keep the single male ratio good with the rest of the clientele. So you might be able to walk right in once you have paid or you may have to wait or be turned away. No way of knowing until you arrive really. This is on Friday nights.

Saturday nights it's £16 a person but it's not the same crowd.

Take your own booze. They aren't allowed to sell alcohol but you put your drink behind the bar and they serve you then. You can buy soft drinks there though.

Went on Friday was a fairly good night, though it was very clique in places. I was also rather pissed off to be greeted by a guest vocalising their bigoted views in the reception area. Not convinced I want to come back at this stage

We loved it Saturday! Definitely going to go more often. Everyone we spoke to was brilliant and it was great to meet some new people too.

It's usually lingerie as daring as you feel brave enough to be seen in. The club supply large towels if you wish to wrap one around for cover, or if you are feeling particularly confident then naked is always an option.

There is a bar area and a smoking area where most of the social aspect takes place. There is absolutely no pressure to do anything that you do not feel comfortable in doing.

Anyone attempting to exert any sort of pressure should be reported to either a friendly face so that they can inform the staff, or directly to the staff if you have the confidence on your first visit.
