So I went to a bowling social last night (great night and a great laugh) and was thinking why isn't there more things like this?

I've been to a few social parties some great some not so. Thing is I'm not really a party person or a big drinker so I can find them awkward at first, specially if you don't know anyone.

So what not have more social activities like bowling, laser tag, escape rooms (big at the moment) board game nights (you don't really know someone till you played monopoly with them lol)

What other things can you guys think of and would be interested in?

Glad you had a good time last night. It can be a bit time consuming organising a social but not too tedious so why not come up with a plan and have a go yourself? Sound friends out first so you've got support from the offset and make the plan clear ... without disclosing any venue specifically on here .... and keep plugging to try and get people interested.

Hope to see you at the next bowling evening. X

Someone once said that, in order to remain friends, the two things you do not discuss are religion and politics, to that I would add, playing board games!

Jayne is all sweetness and light normally, but put a board game in front of her and see her turn into a nightmare lol
