Hi all, I'm in Cardillf on business next Tues 15th. My colleague won't be finished untill about 3pm on Weds 16th and the were travelling back up North. I'm looking for something to do during the day on 16th. This isn't a cry for a meet. This is just a guy asking for some local knowledge. Castell, stadium etc have all been done. Have thought about Penderyn distillery but I have to drive back up lol. Anywhere worth a visit would.be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Bob xx

The distillery either gives a taster while there or you can have miniatures

Is that science place still open... that's worth a visit?

The distillery is miles away from Cardiff.

Didn't the Dr Who thing close down?

Tiny rebel do a brewery tour which is close to Cardiff than penderryn.

There's a few places like castle coch/cardiff castle/cyfarthfa castle dotted around. And they don't all start with "C"

A bit out of Cardiff but very much worth a visit, went last year for the first time and couldn't praise it enough.

Again cheers all. Big pit sounds good but also a mountain walk. Last couple of times I've done a few walks down south. Maybe a trip in the bay too. Spoilt for choice xx

Once when down there I found a late night steak house. Just a black door no signage. Sawdust on the floor but the best steaks ever. Never found it since. Bearing in mind we were d*unk. Is it still going does anyone know?

Out of the options listed and if you have car access I'd vote for Big Pit over the others listed

Staying at the Holiday for a change. Is it any good? Definitely going to Charlestons. Thanks guy for pointing me in right direction. Wed's plans may change slightly as not driving back so it may be different kind of sight seeing lol

I’m sure Cardiff museum has the space craft that Tim Peake travelled back from the international space station in.
